I'm convinced the coaches are not featuring Pickens and Warren because they haven't "earned" respect yet. How else can you explain Pickens performance last week and his attempts this week. Then Benny Snell getting more touches than Warren? Not one Redzone fade to a tallest WR on the roster who is the best combat catcher I've seen in a long time but we throw them to smallest guy wit the worst hands. I believe its calculated and GP is losing patience.

I'm assuming you're a troll but in the off chance you aren't, here is my response.

    1. Warren is coming off of a hamstring injury so limiting his carries is the right move. Before his in jury he was clearly being featured as the #2 over all of the other options on the team.

    2. Pickens is a rookie and he will be happy with what is dealt to him. He needs to earn his place, nothing should be handed to him.

***By the way, I don't know if you noticed but they won the game. Why are you so worried about the stats of a couple of rookies? If Pickens getting 2 targets a game means they win out then Pickens gets 2 targets a game, end of story.

Since this is a thread devoted to the rookies, though, maybe intended for fun to rile up the crowd again ..

Picketts I don't believe Steelers intended to draft him. With the tragic death of Haskins (who Trubisky maybe or may not have been brought in for two years to mentor). I assumed Steelers are not sold on Mason, and when Pickett dropped into their lap in the 1st, they picked him. Since Mitch was brought in to start, Pickett was to ride the bench for a year. Mitch was awful, the coaching staff that was trying to shield Pickett now threw him into the worst part of the schedule to play.

Pickens fell into their lap also, otherwise they take a position of need since they had DJ and Claypool for Mitch. He was best WR on Georgia team; but he was out for the year and many thought he would just go into the draft. He worked hard to get back, and Kirby Smart slowly got Pickens in the games until the National Championship.

I think Steelers got two players that they would have been fine having them wait a season before making them more involved.

I made this up, but I think there might be some truth in it.

I watch rookie wide outs and rookie halfbacks tear the league seemingly ever year, we have two very talented rookies but we don't make getting them the ball a priority. Why?!

After owning the best CB in the league in the first half GP got 1 attempt in the 2nd half and Warren makes a great individual play to get a much needed 1st down and no more touches after that. Make it make sense

I actually semi agree with this post. George Pickens should be getting more targets. Period.
