Didn't see today's game. How did Pickett do?

Truth be told, I always thought that they didn't give Mason enough time. I thought that he looked pretty good at first in BRs absence until he was knocked out. I think that affected him in his immediate return. I would've loved for him to get one whole season to himself. I felt he deserved a shot and was 100% comfortable with Mason and MT before they drafted Pickett.

And the absolute strike to Johnson that would've been a touchdown if the Saints DB didn't tackle him first.

Hell, with his logic let's throw @jeh1856 in there. At his age we're bound to see a QBR of 1,387,812.9.

Several days and you have yet to answer the question.
Answer it, otherwise I must assume that there's literally nothing that he could do and you'll just continue to ***** and complain.

Everything... He's not seeing open Receivers...He has 3 TD's and 8 interceptions. I would like to see him improve at everything...The biggest ,from what I can see is... He's not trusting his eyes , nor his abilities and " checking it down "...

He's going for the " sure thing " ( the 2 yard pass ) to often imo...There are Receivers running open ( obviously not every play ) but they're plays to be made downfield...

Watch the 3rd play of the game, when he settled for a Checkdown, 4 yards short of the sticks...Muth was wide open over the middle...Let it rip!

Well, don't take it from Sportswriters or us on the message board. Here's Kurt Warner saying he likes what he sees out of Kenny, breaking down the Bengals game. Talking about his maturity and willingness to stand in there and make a throw.

Don’t bring a Hall of Fame quarterback’s analysis. I only care what Deion and AB have to say.

Think of how many 1st round top 10 QBs who have flopped in the NFL.

I'm still in the give Kenny time and not chew him up and spit him out give him time committee.

I'm not convinced he's terrible and believe he could even get better and it's in Pittsburgh's best interest to not tear him down too early.

Check Down Kenny. Averaging 6 yards a pass. Reminds me of a young Brad Johnson or Trent Dilfer.

Jeez give the kid some time. This offense would be tough on any QB.

I bet a lot of Bills fans were saying after his rookie year. "10 TD's and 12 picks?" "Only completing 52% of his passes?" "A passer rating of only 67"? "The stupid front office should have known that picking a complete nobody from Wyoming would blow up in their faces!"

Kenny Pickett is nowhere near the freak athlete Josh Allen is come on. I’m not saying KP can’t get better over the next year or two but his ceiling is nowhere near that high.

What's your point? We're talking about numbers, not athletic ability. Stop switching the topic. You don't have to be a freak athlete to be a successful QB. Joe Burrow is nowhere near the athlete that Josh Allen is.

Joe Burrow also looked a ton better his rookie year before he tore up his knee. If you think KP will turn into Josh Allen or Smoking Joey Burrow sure thing. We can revisit this in another year :thumbs up:

WTF are you talking about? I never compared him to Joe Burrow, nor did I say that he'd become him.
You have a severe comprehension problem. You've already stated that anyone who doesn't agree with you regarding KP, that they think Pickett is a HOFer and are fan-boys.

Listen we could keep going back and forth speculating on wether KP was a reach or wether he will be a legit franchise QB till the cows come home. Only time will tell so let’s just revisit this end of next season and see where it is at. After 7 games it’s not looking good but to be fair it is too early to say anything definitively.

Probably the smartest thing you've posted yet. See you in March 2024. Until then it's probably best to keep your criticisms light.

What is 7? Wins? Or are you meaning SB rings? Just kidding of course but this isn't just about KP or what he can and cannot do. Putting a good engine is a POS car still gives you a POS car. Many other things need to happen in order to get 7 of just about anything good, including on the other side of the ball. Like your optimism though. JMO>
