I'm sure he formed his opinion after someone like Shannon Sharpe told him what it was!

No. I'm going by what I saw, not what "analyst" think. Hines was clutch coming across the middle as well as, probably the best blocking receiver in the game. The conception that he was "dirty" because he hit like a LB will make him wait to get in. Too many Sportswriters didn't like what he did to their teams. The way it should be to get into the HOF is, can the history of the league be told without this guy? Well, since there was a rule change because of the way Hines played, I'd say no.

He should get in for just knocking Rod Woodson out while He was a Raven. LoL.
Also for making Ray Lewis step out of bounds, and letting a fumble go because He saw Hines coming. LoL.
That stuff is priceless to a Steelers fan.

Different positions have different criteria when looking at whether someone is HOF worthy. Was Harrison a better player than Hines? At his position he was. Both excelled at their position and, IMO, both belong.

IMO people are trying to compare Hines wrongly.
It's like trying to compare the Bus to M. Faulk. Both are awesome RBs, but totally different, and if You tried comparing them the exact same way.....one wouldn't hold up to the other.

You guys ***** about lava but this is right.

Deebo, if he makes it, will be from the * of "best int return in Superbowl history"
The lore will give the push over the hump.
Hines.... Unfortunately doesn't have the number because stats. At wr that's what matters most.

Ward has a signature moment, too. Unlike Harrison, he has a Super Bowl MVP award to his credit. That absolutely holds weight with the voters.

Well like you said anyone can give an opinion and yours was made, for whatever reason.

My opinion is that you're dumb bas tard but hey anyone can do that.
Chalk that up in your book.

It's a discussion man it's not about right or wrong. The point is talking about the grey area that both these dudes are in.

    It's ok to be angry....

I remember Hines’ blocks as well as I remember some of his receptions. I truly believe that he was the most feared and respected offensive player by defenses around the league and that’s a rarity. Hines would give them a taste of their own medicine and I loved it!

And always with a smile on his face for psychotic effect, lol.

They do but at the same time players from different positions are judged against one another to choose who gets in and who doesn't. They all fall on the same ballot.

It's not me. It's obvious the amount of disdain they have for Hines. He deserves to be in. Debo on the other hand will not make it due to his reputation. Sorry

Yeah, I know. There was too much truth in my post for you to refute it. Thanks for not wasting our time by trying.

I don't concern myself with anything you say. So therefore I didn't waste my time responding. Lions don't concern themselves with the opinion of a sheep.

These guys and Ben could be the Steelers last sniff of the HOF for a long time.

Oh yeah maybe Watt if he can keep going.
