Charlie Batch is the Digest Player of the Week

Charlie should choose to retire after this season, on his own terms.

There's a very good chance he wouldn't make the squad anyway. And let this game be his ride off into the sunset. He can't have what the Bus had, but a huge win against the Ravens should be his Superbowl victory in his last start.

THis win was special in many ways. Obviously we all want another ring this year......but if that does not happen....this will be a highlight of the season.

Taking down the Rats is always a big deal......but doing it with Charile at the helm makes it truly special!

 

Very true....no matter what happens the rest of the season, this game will be a great memory for this year. But lets hope that they can get into the playoffs and tack on #7, anyway raying:

 

Actually, he already has what the Bus had. JB didn't get that elusive ring until his final game. Batch already has 2.

But I wouldn't argue with a 3rd. lol

 

I mean more on a personal level, than team wise. Yes he'd get a ring, but not playing in the game. I just mean it'd be great if the last memory of Charlie is him and Ben hugging on the sideline after he saved the Steelers season in Baltimore.

And I heard just now that Ben is expected to start this week.

I was very critical of 16s performance against the Browns. His and all others(on offense) ........He did not play a perfect game against the Rats but he did play well enough to win. Thats all you should expect from a 3rd string QB.Play well enough to give your team a chance to win. That is what 16 did. Well done sir!! Nice game.
