I will say, Against the Saints with TJ on the field, it was loud, really loud.
And Sunday even against the Bengals, it was very loud again... the towels were everywhere.
I think also this game (Bengals) was moved from 1 to 4:25... that will mess with people too.
But if someone is trying to sell that the team has no draw, well.... that's wrong.

Pittsburgh ranks 27 or 21 (If I recall) for gate entries. It is a little down since they are losing.
You wanna see a bad one Washington went from first to worst.

Let me gets this straight because the numbers are crazy. 99.7% is considered middle of the road? So .3 % is what the margin of error is between full capacity and middle of the road? Sure glad that isn't the margin for a go/no go on the game every week.

Pirates is just a glorified minor league team where players go to practice their skills before being traded to real MLB teams.

Sadly this is very true. I splurged 3yrs ago and got a Josh Bell jersey and true to form not a pirate anymore. I knew I should have just got Roberto.

I always love these threads because without fail those that make the biggest stink about poor attendance have no quantifiable data to back up their assertions. It's always I've been there before and it was much louder I'm telling you. Ok so you made sure to record the decibel level for comparison right? Well No I just know it wasn't. I was there and I saw plenty of empty seats. Ok what time was it? Where in the game was it, how many ppl were on the ramps or in the concourse and what was the team record at that point? Well I don't know I just remember seeing plenty of open seats. Corporations buy all the tickets to give away. Really? What Corporations and how does one get on that list? Also how do you tell free ticket recipients from paying ticket holders? Is there a special gate or section for them? Oh wait they all wear Sdot jerseys don't they? Well why does it always seem other stadiums are louder than Heinz Field then if everyone is in attendance. Short and sweet answer by design. Heinz Field was designed to highlight and enhance the Pittsburgh Skyline and it be a beautiful addition to the urban renewal of Pittsburgh's steel mill past. Other stadiums like Seattle and Dallas are monuments to owners egos designed to enhance crowd noise and humble visiting teams.

@jeh1856 probably has knowledge of this, but if I recall correctly the Steelers and I believe one or two other teams report the actual number of people through the gate. The rest of them report number of tickets sold. I’d imagine if the Steelers went that route they would be near the top of the list.

Don’t mind that guy. I’m not convinced he’s even a Steelers fan as much trash as he talks about him. His broke ass has probably never even been to a game. And if he is a Steelers fan he’s definitely not a very good one.

At part of the reason gate entries isn’t higher is because it’s not a relatively big stadium

    Acrisure is 18th in size

Dallas is at the top of the list in total because they have a large stadium

But they don’t sell out all the time and therefore their games get blacked out

Steeler games are always on in Pittsburgh TV area

Agreed....I got KC/Steelers tickets around this time one year for a little over 30 bucks , and both teams had winning records. Because some people couldn't go....last minute stuff, and I bought the tickets from them.

I’ve been critical of the fans at Steelers games myself. On the surface it does seem like there’s a lot of no-shows. But a lot of people are standing on those ramps watching the game. And to start the second half there are a lot of people in line to get beer or go to the bathroom. Not to mention the initial start of the game people are trickling in from tailgating.

Have the worst owner in baseball, maybe in all of professional sports? People have tried to buy team off him. he refuses to sale.
He collects millions from other MLB luxury tax teams, it has been reported he makes over 21 million/year from these fees.

Wrong as usual. I’m actually from Pittsburgh unlike you. Been to tons of games although not recently. I’m not a blind homer and don’t waste my money on a **** product. Go back to your number 1 Fan dreamland tool.
