We have to win the rest of our division games to even have a chance. Unlikely but not impossible. One week at a time.

If the offense can keep progressing I feel unfortunately he will get another year

Animus said it best a steady diet of Najee and Warren keeping Pickett's throw count down win or lose. Being down in those games sure didn't produce wins with Pickett throwing it all over the place.

This team is not playoff caliper. It was exciting to see a win over a team with 3 wins. The bungles are a different matter.

Probably more pivotal for the bungholes than the steelers.

You’re not alone in that one. When you accept our issues have been many versus singular it becomes easier to accept. There have been a lot of plays to be made and also a lot plays ruined by mistakes. Does the team really want to learn an entire new offense? Will the players we have fit that new offense? Really boils down to the second half of the season. If they start putting it together then I’ll bet dollars to donuts he stays. If not then we get to go through this for another season or two

Must get to 6-6 before we are even alive. Then almost every game after that is a must win. 10-7 needed for any playoff hopes IMO.

With that momentum we would be the most exciting 10-7 team if that happened.

Three more wins in a row, I hope.

What’s amazing is if we win tomorrow we’re only one game behind the Bungles. The eternal Steeler optimist in me is still holding out hope. :prayer:

My thought exactly, sort of:) I 100% feel this is the pivotal game of the season. Win this and the climate will change in that locker room. I just can't see us defeating the defending AFC Champs twice. Reminds me of when we had to play the Ravens in a Playoff game after we had beat them twice during the season. All week long I had to hear the talking heads say how it's next to impossible to beat a team 3 times in a season but we did it.

A perfect day to have a dominant run game. Steeler teams of past
Were very good at this.Take the air out of the ball and the wind
Out of the sails of opposing teams.

Anything can happen. It might be crazy, but I think one of these weeks the offense is going to start to click. If the defense is healthy this team has time to make some noise. I still think they end up 9-8. Maybe that isn't enough to get them in, but it sure is enough to keep things interesting.

Well if they are going to win the defense has to keep the score down to 17. This offense has scored over 20 once vs these same bungles in the first contest. Can't get into a shoot out.

I want to see the offense we saw last week. Establishing the run and keeping Pickett's throws to 35 and under. Some defensive takeaways would help.

If they win great. If they lose i'm not gonna be pissed unless they give it up on some stupid mistakes.

There is a lot going in the Steelers' favor today. They are as healthy on defense as they have been all season and the Bengals are not, especially with Chase out.

No Boswell really hurts. We saw that last week.

I have this sick feeling that Kenny improves a bit, gets a few TD passes, the run game averages 4 yards per carry and somehow Canada and his O are approved for another year. I don't know his contract status, I don't care, my gut can't handle another year of jet sweeps as our main plan of attack lol.

Canada is in the last year of his two year contract, I don't see him getting another contract from the team, the offense hasn't showed enough improvement to be kept around.

I don't see this game as pivotal, because I still don't think they're going to make a playoff run even if they win.
