Some of my thoughts after the W @ BAL (that sounds pretty nice: W @BAL!):

-... and that's why you don't mess with the Terrible Towel, R Rice
-This is the kind of W our team needed:
hostile environment, a rivalry... and a complete team effort
-Is there anything Miller can't do? What an impressive year by this guy. Haley has been able to take the most out of him. Headed to the Pro Bowl (mark my words)
-Where has Flacco, the supposed elite QB, been the last couple of games against us?
-Harrison's strip sack: priceless! Remembered me of that Polamalu's strip sack 2 years ago. That's a momentum shift (we had just thrown an int), the timing of that play couldn't be better. Nice to have the old J Harrison back!
-What would have happened if Ben played both games against BAL, and Flacco was the one that was injured?
-If no one told you that was a patched OL, nobody could have noticed it. They brought their A game today.
-Kiesel and Hood made key plays, and were a factor against the pass. Even though, they had issues against the run today.
-Our Return game -besides that Rainey KR for 40 yds- hasn't helped our O lately. What has happened here?
-K Lewis had a great game, and it has become usual -week in and week out he has been playing at a high level-
-A shame I Taylor went down, but C Allen had a good game (I know he allowed 2 long passes to Boldin, but broke some others and was standing close during most of the game)
-Our 4th quarter D since the game @TEN has been outstanding. Haven't seen the stats, but I'm pretty sure we lead the league in 4th quarter 3&outs
-Are we still in a need of drafting CBs or OLs?
-It was a great interception by Clark, let's call it a pressure-int. But why has he been getting hurt so often recently? Is it his playing style? We need at least 1 healthy S starter
-Is there any posibility that we play an injury-free game this season?
-Foote was all over the place, and has been fired up the last 4 or 5 games. Didn't expect this from him at the beginning of the season, pleasantly surprised!
-Sanders: great receiver, excellent catching the football and great route runner, but needs some coaching on holding the football. That was probably a 70 yd TD
-Wallace had a nice 4th quarter, and an excellent performance during our last series. Still, he needs to get into a hot streak during the next games in order to have a contract offer -from us or anyone else-
-Batch kept making good reads. The problem has been that his skills are not at the level they need to be. And he was rusty. When was the last time we were able to pull Ben from a game -with a lead- and give reps to our backup QBs? That's why getting leads is meant to be important!
-Batch's ability to bounce back from last week's game, and his composure during the 4th quarter speaks volumes about him. That emotional reaction at the end of the game reflects what it meant to him this game. Heart? Passion? I doubted last week, but he proved us wrong. He can play, and he can be a leader.
-There were many plays to remember, but that block from Batch on Dwyer's TD was the one I'll remember the most from this game
-Is Mendenhall done with us? Hasn't had a good year, and after last week's performance (2 fumbles on 4 touches) IMO Coach T made the right decision. The question seems to be: Can Dwyer be an every-down back from now on?
-Suisham's consistency is something we haven't had in a kicker since... Gary Anderson?
-Coach T took one from Harbugh: he'll cry foul, but he deserved it. Never gives credit, always whines -like his brother-, and hasn't been particularly respectful. I know many in the media will criticize Coach T, but I stand by him on this one

I will be the first to admit that I did NOT like Suisham going into this season. I still don't trust him 100%, but I'm getting there. He has been rock-solid all season, and I'm hoping he's able to carry that throughout the end of the season and into the playoffs.

You don't trust a kicker that's missed 1 all season? What does a kicker have to do for you?

Aint that the truth. One miss all year long and he was dead on with that kick. The offense just lost too many yards the play before and took it out of a reasonable range. And he STILL nearly made it. #6 has been the least of our worries this year.

I've not had a chance to watch the full game yet, just the highlights - what happened here?

    I don't trust him COMPLETELY. It's growing. :)

Suisham has not been THE reliable guy - especially in the clutch - until this year. December football is a different animal than the rest of the year. It's also been the time of year when Suisham has tended to fall apart. I like him AND trust him a lot more NOW than I did at the beginning of the season. I just want to see how the last 1/4 of the season plays out before I'm ready to endorse him as THE guy.
