I had an old friend, and bass player that was a huge fan of Geezer Butler, and when He played bass He would call it the Geezer walrus technique. LoL.
I Love all of the original Sabbath stuff.

there are an awful lot of bands that owe their careers to the trail sabbath blazed.

That's what I tried to do. I don't know why but, every once in a while, I get this creepy song stuck in my head!

I'm not sure if I've heard it before, but I enjoyed it. I've listened to it twice since I put it here.

That song got quite a bit of radio play here in the early 70s
This one and "Timothy" completed your creep factor for the day!

Hadn't heard this before, but I really like it. It sounds to me like a cross between early Pink Floyd and Trans-siberian Orchestra (their non-Christmas stuff, at least).

Met him once back in the early 90’s. Seemed like a really nice guy. Down to earth, approachable. His wife/girlfriend/fiancé whatever she was at the time was fire.

I've saw a documentary about Sammy touring with David Lee Roth, and it's striking just how normal Sammy is, and how down to earth he is versus DLR, who walked into a room expecting to be worshipped by everyone within 50 feet of him. I'm a big VH fan, and I've always liked DLR as a singer, but man, his ego is like no other.

I remember this song mainly from the Movie Heavy Metal.
I really never listen to Sammy except in Montrose, and Van Halen.
I mean I heard songs by Him .....impossible not to growing up when I did, but I don't think I ever bought anything by Him....outside of Montrose, and V.H.....but I know, and dig this tune
I also watched His show on TV all the time.
