I want to thank Mike Walalce for being a tough SOB and coming back in the game after his ankle/lower leg injury on the final team. This proves he is a Steelers team player as anybody who was just here for the money would of sat out and not even bothered to come back. Wallace respects the team and the jersey he wears every sunday. I also have to apologize for calling out Wallace in recent weeks but that come back into the game proved him to me.:applaud:

Wallace has a lot of work to do still. Those drops have to stop.

True, but who doesn't have work to do. Just thanking Wallace for being a team player and I think he understands how important this game really was. Realistically this game was a major improvement for him over last week.

His confidence is what is causing those drops. Hes thinking too much and needs to rely more on his abilities. Same thing happened to Sanders when he fumbled.

Its going to take more then Wallace not dropping the ball. On the Sanders fumble he clearly turns away from the ball rather then going after the fumble. Now it could have been that he was not aware it was a fumble and assumed it was an incomplete pass but I doubt it. I just think he lacks the necessary work ethic..

Actually I think Sanders got hurt more than Wallace got hurt. He couldn't raise his arms up latter in the game and still made a nice catch around the 4 yard line. He seem to be hurting some and I was surprise he came back in.

I really can't grasp how this game all of a sudden make him good again. He still played awful. Yeah, he had a couple catches, but isn't that what a receiver is supposed to do? The guys a #3 receiver, for specific situations at best. I'd rather have Plex in there.

Are you kidding me? Dropped balls, not fighting for the ball, being a whiney sissy and bc he sucks it up ONE time its suppose to prove something? What about the hit Sanders took, Heath last week, Rainey last week, Batch tonight... Hes not tough, hes kicking himself for not taking the Steeler offer. His poor performance this year is going to hurt him and the Steelers have sent him a message that HE needs us, the Steelers DONT need him.

Not dropping the ball is enough for me. Cleaning up other peoples messes is a distant second.

I was hopping Plex would of stayed in longer, especially in the red zone area. :hmmm:

Wallace doesn't get a pass in my books, not a chance in hell. I'm feeling good right now with the win, but I still hate Mike Wallace. He makes way too many mistakes. He didn't come back into the game because he's tough or because he knew the importance of the game, he came back into the game because he wasn't really hurt.

He got beat up pretty good on that play, got a charlie horse first, then his knee stuck and then looked like he rolled his ankle. I only saw it that once though but I think that's how it went down, have to see it again. But I'm not given him a pass either, he has to do much better.

As an authority on Wallace's suckiness let me tell you that he has not turned a corner. Harristotle and Shadowmaker called it right down the line. You will know if Wallace is a team player about 2 months from now. This team has many needs and we don't need to be paying Mike Worthless to come in and drop balls he oughtta catch such as the ball going down the sidelines. He needs to stop whining about not getting the deep routes. Maybe someone should remind him that BA left and took his short bus offense with him. There's a new OC in town and he doesn't care about primadonna ladies like Mike Worthless wanting to make big plays for their own glory as opposed to that of our beloved franchise. I REALLY enjoy Mike Worthless's speed and I'm REEEEALLY gonna enjoy watching him use it to leave the city of Pittsburgh as fast as he possibly can. Congrats to him for catching the ball today. It's really refreshing to see a WR do that.

Reports from the sideline also tweeted that Wallace was yelling at officials that Sanders didn't have 2 feet down before he fumbled. He could of just walked to the bench but he didn't. Im not saying we should break the bank for him based on today just was impressed that he came back in especially since he's got this lazy underachieving label to his name.
Another question would this conversation be different if he caught that overthrown touchdown?

he made some plays on the last drive. For that good job. But, if you want to get paid it is time to step up on every down.

Wallace has the speed and that's it. No way he deserves the big money contract that he's asking for.

No because wide open receivers are supposed to catch touchdowns. I really wanted to see if he could've caught it though because then maybe you could see if it really IS something going on in his head. Maybe the pressure of trying to make the big pay day is starting to get to him and he is buckling. Just a theory which I don't like BTW because it seems kinda like I'm being fair to Mike Worthless which I never want to do.....(sarcasm people!!!)

Yes Thank you Mike Wallace for dropping 3 balls 1 that hit you in the hands inside the 5 yardline with no eligible defender within 15 yards ( the defender closest stepped out of bounds and was in front of Wallace ) making this game a nail biter when it did not have to be ......

I think Sanders could have waltzed into the endzone on his inexplicable drop, the AB slip, Batch missing a wide open Wallace in the endzone. Game shouldn't have been close. This team needs to tighten it up, way to sloppy.
