A source with knowledge of the situation tells Profootballtalk.com that Steelers RCB Ike Taylor is out at least 2-6 weeks with a right fibula injury, and there is "concern that the injury is significant."
Taylor has missed only three games in his career, and none since 2004. He is clearly the Steelers' top cornerback, so the loss is significant. It will also upgrade Danario Alexander's fantasy matchup in Week 14. Special teamer Curtis Brown is listed as Pittsburgh's backup right corner. Keenan Lewis is the LCB. Dec 2 - 9:18 PM

The only year I can recall with more, is 1980, when Bradshaw, Harris, Stallworth, Swann, Lambert -along with many others-missed significant action. That was one of the main reasons why the dynasty ended that year.

    ^^^

Going by how Allen looked against Smith and Bolden, Allen is a younger, quicker ( probably better hands ) Ike, I bet we see less PI calls because of this,, that PI call against him near the goal line was B S,, even Flake O had a smile on his face after that academy performance by Smith, pretending his arm was being held along with the fake loosing my balance. Glad they only got 3 points from that

The Steelers got Dallas and Cincinnati coming up with both high powered offenses that like to throw often. Next man Up. If there was ever a time for the Standard to be the Standard this better be it. Ike has been covering very well this season. If he could catch the ball he would be a Pro Bowler..............But that Pro Bowl is for the non - Superbowl losers anyways.
