Perhaps you’re the one that should wake up. I called this a rebuilding year before the season ever started. I fully expected this to a be rough season while y’all are bitching and moaning. But just to be clear, I'm a guy who actually looks at it all. How they did in regular season matters. As well how the defense was. As how other top QB in that time were, to asking "did they set the bar or were they average with an amazing defense"?

Just saying, even Dulac gave the Steeler coaches an F at the half way point this year, for those that don't realize it, Dulac is right. Still saying Ben has carried Tomlin for years and one of the main reasons for his Tomlins not having a loosing season for so many years.

Do you really want someone to go back through your posts and count the number of times you’ve claimed tomlin didn’t have the team prepared? Or your old go to playing down to the competition? You might actually claim you do want that to happen, but you and I both know that truly isn’t the case. You make it too easy to prove you wrong Just like the last time when you claimed “I never said that”.

 

You're living in the "reality" that Mike Tomlin has done an outstanding job over the last several years keeping those non-losing seasons intact (with a little help form a HOF quarterback). My reality is that the Steelers, with some exceptions, have largely underperformed and it's time for a new direction. Tomlin has had 15 years and he'll do okay after football. With his vocabulary of platitudes he'll have a nice career as a talking head if he wants it. His expiration date is coming up real fast if he hasn't already reached it. I know he's not going anywhere, but it's time. Noll's tenure came to an end as did Cowher's...now it's time for Tomlin to move on.
