    Maybe he’ll start playing like he’s 6’4” instead of 5’ 9”

The Packers are a hot mess right now and Rodgers has a lot to do with it. Both teams are tied with each other at 3-5. Chicago has 10 more points for but 8 more against. I'd rather have the younger Fields throwing to me than the ancient Rodgers. Either team though has it's fair share of problems but less than the Steelers do.

    Steelers = LB U
    :smiley1:
You could always count on getting clobbered by Steeler LB when you played them.
And who takes what is basically a very fast DT (6'1" ~300lbs) and makes him a LB? lol (Levon Kirkland)
Porter, "Avoid" Lloyd and so many more...

Would have been cool with them trading Claypool and Bush for Roquan Smith.

They wanted draft picks and in that scenario, Steelers would have been the one forking over a pick.

Plus the contract Smith will demand.

That's a whole lot of jet sweeps in Canada's amazing offense.

If Claypool is great with the Bears after being bad this year with us, that's going to be another big black spot for Tomlin, Canada and the Steelers....At some point, Tomlin is going to have to realize that our players aren't being used well on offense. ..Just look at JuJu this year, he has 34 catches in 7 games for an average of 14.5 yards per catch....He was under 10 yards with us in his last 2 years...He was not used as a true WR.Same for Claypool this year

If Claypool does well with the Bears, it's a huge red flag for Tomlin.

I still like this trade for the steelers but major changes are needed for the steelers offense in the offseason for their philosophy

I want to hear what Claypool has to say when he is inevitably asked about his old team. JuJu has already said he has learned much more in 2 months with KC than he did 5 years here.

I can absolutely see Claypool dishing, he’ll spill it.

I dont find this all that shocking. Andy Reid is an offensive minded coach and they have an awesome OC plus Patrick Mahomes. If we ever get to the redzone wish we could design up even 1/4 of the plays I see the chiefs run.

Bush showed upside his rookie year too. We see how that turned out bro. A lot of guys look good their rookie year.

It did cross my mind that this is exactly what you would do if you're trolling Canada. Take away the only guy he has shown any creativity with.

Bush also had a serious injury. Not all players look good rookie year. It’s rumored at least 2-3 teams offered a 2nd for him so I’d say the league agrees with me. I’m not sure what Steelers fans are watching… But then again I’ve been predicting this disaster for years and everybody wanted to ignore the obvious signs. Steelers fans will trash Canada then act like that didn’t impact Claypool the last two years…

I'm not sure how much stock I put into the whole " creating a bad environment in the locker room" explanation. It seems too convenient. He had some off the field issues so I can see him acting out as believable just not to the point where Tomlin ships him out.

Much like when Minkah was available in Miami, you take the offer you think will be higher. We had just lost Ben, and Miami figured we would have a top five pick, so it chose Pittsburgh. Odds are the Bears will have a worse record than the Packers, so they went with the Bears. I've read too many places that the offer was the Packers 2nd to believe the Bears had to jump a round to beat them. Hell, they could have offered a third and a fifth if that was the case.

It’s funny how people are upset about getting rid of him. The players complained about practice and this is one of many moves that needed to happen to change the culture. Has nothing to do with what he was or could be. The production didn’t out way the pain in the butt.

I think we are assuming Claypool was traded because of his bad performance. Perhaps he was a disruption in the locker room?
