Good if Wallace can step his play and get over injury... the secondary should be improved for the last 9 games.

Any reasoning for trading to get a 30 year old CB? Couldn't we just bring back Haden.

Talked with my comrades over there.... it is true.

"Washington knows the Jackson signing was a mistake in that he just didn't fit. Felt his skills could translate to their zone style; did not. So they move on rather than continue to wait for him to improve. Showed signs this summer of "getting it" but in games wasn't the case"

So our overpaid defense is going to become even more overpaid….

Like it or not, the team is in rebuild mode. They aren’t winning with the offense they have, regardless of the coordinator. I’m not even sure it’s a personnel issue. The O is extremely inexperienced. The oldest starter is 26. There’s only so much you can expect from them.

Well you can see why he doesn’t like playing zone lol. He was passing him off - to no one.

Swapped late round picks for him... seems like a deal to grab him to avoid the waiver wire. Not sure he's much better than our current guys. I guess we'll find out soon.

Swapped late round picks? We don't have a fifth or sixth rounder this year.

    From my guys there.
"Likely nothing more than a late-round pick, as the Commanders wash their hands of a player who hasn’t lived up to expectations and doesn’t want to be there."

So, I watched Jackson a lot, a lot..... he was the shutdown guy when he came there.
    Supposedly.

Nearly from day 1 he sucked.
Why? Well because Washington is stupid. They get players that do X and they want them to do Y.
    They do this constantly.

Jackson also has a back injury. I think he's cleared all docs.

So how does it work here?
You can certainly line him up man and he can cover and you'll probably get your money's worth.
But Zone... it could get ugly.

At one time, coming to the Steelers would have been an honor to most any player in the NFL, but given the current state of affairs with the team, Jackson is probably thinking that he should have demanded that no trade clause!

Well, we do have a sixth, so most likely this is a 6th for Jackson and a 7th.
