Well I only listened to Motley up till Shout at the Devil, Wasp till about the same time, and only one Twisted Sister album. I was a Slayer, Sabbath, Motorhead, Anthrax, Metallica, Megadeth, Testament, Overkill, Sacred Reich, Merciful Fate, and Metal Church type of Guy during most of the Hair stuff

I liked sabbath and motorhead. Was even a fan of early Maiden and Metallica. Metallica’s music really fell off with the passing of Cliff Burton imo. Then they killed Napster, so **** them. I grew up in the midst of the dc hardcore scene. Preferred the low fi quality of that music and the diy ethos over much of what was being pushed through our speakers.

Poison, Motley Crew, Cinderella, Ratt, Mr. Big, Britny Fox.

The only one I liked out of those was Ratt, but they were one of the first "heavier" groups that a friend introduced me to when I started listening to harder rock when I was pretty young. And Billy Sheehan from Mr. Big is an amazing bass player.
