On one hand I want TJ Watt to come back and wreck the league but on the other I want him to take the rest of the year off.

The Steelers may be effectively eliminated from the playoff contention by week 10… 2-7 record is very likely by week 10.

Sure it would be fun to watch him eliminate all by himself a few teams from making the playoffs but if the trade off is risk to further injury or a shortened career then they might want to let him 110% heal. This season is done unless major coaching changes happen tomorrow, why have him out there when this team isn't going anywhere? I've never tossed in my terrible towel ever until now. I would like nothing more than to be proven wrong.

    Sit him until
Next year. Why win a game or two and end up 6-7 wins and lose high frost and second round pick

People have to stop saying this. You don’t sit healthy players for half a season because you are afraid they may get hurt.

And if they beat Philly they will be 3-5 headed into the bye, with a healthy Watt coming back after the break.

I think people are over-rating Philly a little bit. It's not like they have been blowing teams out weekly. Squeaking by bad teams is more like it. Steelers could very well still end up 9-8 this year.

They will have played only eight games going into Week 10. They have their bye Week 9, but hey, don't let facts get in the way of your trolling.

Their defense stumbled in the opener, but they have been very good since then. They are second in the league in yards allowed per pass attempt and interceptions. Their corners have been excellent and they generate pressure up front. The best way to attack them is probably running the ball and throwing over the middle, but the Steelers seem to be ill-equipped to take advantage of either of those options.

I never understand the dont play so and so because the season is over anyway. That is not how professional athletes think. Maybe if it was the last game of the season, but NFL players don't have very long careers and missing games or 3/4 of a season is not an option. I cannot 100% say how many games we would have won with TJ, but I know for certain we would have pressured a qb a few more times each game. I would much rather watch a defense capable of getting to the QB than what I watched last week in which the only times anyone hit TUA was when he lowered his shoulder and ran into the D himself.

Wash, rinse and repeat. Another winning season with no playoffs or win. Wash, rinse and repeat. Thank goodness they can't go the 8-8 incomplete.

A losing season would give them better draft position. And its headed in that direction. I wouldn't be butt hurt. They need upgrades at key positions.

And also a better offensive philosophy. Not a middle school one. Hire a smart competent offensive coordinator.

Do I trust Tomlin. No. But he ain't going anywhere with Art II gushing over his witty banter and cliches'
And his constant praise of other teams players. So riveting.

Given how tight the division is, if we're within two games of a WC slot we have to play him. Otherwise we're just lowkey tanking at this point. I don't think that would play well in the locker room.

I have run into odd things with wealthy people from time to time

Once a lady I got to know who’s husband was in a dementia unit with my dad asked me for some help selling some cars

Her husband was British and some how he was a friend with a gentleman named Porsche

She said Mr Porsche would just give her husband cars but they weren’t regular cars

(I.e. beta test cars, race cars)

She asked if I would help her to sell them and they were in a warehouse near where we lived

This sounded unique considering how valuable only one would be so I asked her how many cars there were

She said “oh, there must be 75 of them”

At best he will knock us out of a top ten pick. Do we pray for a high ankle sprain?
