He looks great so far, definitely has the potential.
I think KP has too much confidence in the other two receivers, expecting them to make a play on a 50/50 ball, because that is their specialty after all.o_O

yep - I'm 55, not sure I have seen worse. I do recall the Bubby Brister years, 1988 was one, it was HORRIBLE. This is all a good bit on Canada. Skill players are pretty good, but Najeh is either hurt or he is just a flat out BUST. So SLOW.....

Let me tell you what we will be doing on first down on the next 18 possessions - we will RUN THE BALL. Canada sucks

    just sucks...

why is he not fired, as of NOW?

1999 was an awful year for the Steelers offense. The Bus was our entire O... and he didn't get any help. The current offense... as inconsistent as it is, is better than late 90's or '88 offense.

I think it's maybe both. This isn't just a player issue as I am sure they are going where they're supposed to. The offense is predictable and DB's probably know what routes are associated with each player or formation. I remember a game last year where the other teams players said they knew what the calls were, or something to that effect. JMO>

You think the people who selected Bush, Edmunds, and Harris will get the right pick in the 1st next draft? Obviously, you never know what a pick will turn out to be so we may as well do the best we can and get who we have better developed on the field. I am not as confident as some with the notion that draft position = a known outcome. I think MT is an example. Yes, the higher the draft pick the more likely you'll get a good player, but I think we've seen that this is still a gamble. JMO>

True. They need to upgrade especially first at left tackle. If they pick in the 5 to 8 range then I would consider trading down to grab more picks unless a stud LT is there. Dan Moore requires tight end help to much and still gets beat. It's a possibility that Dotson's play is being effected by Moore.

You beat me to it. I was going to tell OP of the fun times we had sitting on wooden benches where a splinter in the butt was very possible.

I've been watching the Steelers since the early 60's and I have seen worse offenses than the current one. The late 1960's with Dick Shiner and Kent Nix alternating at QB, the Shiner and Hanratty 1-13 1969 team. Bradshaw's rookie year when he rotated in and out of the lineup with Hanratty was a terrible offense.

Yep. Steelers offense didn't start getting good until '72.

I hope not as well. And I'm not trying to start crap or run afoul of the MB rules - I know shocker, right? But how would it look if they fired a minority HC when they were instrumental in driving the league to adopt the Rooney rule. A lot of folks would call it hypocritical at best. I'm starting to think that they are worried about image and potential damage to it.

It’s not like they’d be firing him hastily after one year on the job. It’s been what? 15 years? I’d doubt there would be any backlash on that front.

I guess someone forgot all the games We use to win 10- 6, 9- 3 or 10- 9 not so long ago in the Ken Graham/Kordell Stewart years. LoL
We would look like passing monsters now compared to then.

You might be underestimating the woke mob. It was only 2 weeks ago that they came after Aikman for his dresses comment.

We gotta find ways to put up points even if that means trying the same things over and over again until we execute them correctly just like all offenses try to achieve

1999 offense averaged more points per game that this puke Canada offense in last year and a half

It has crossed my mind as well as a possible reason for allowing him to be untouchable but the Steelers have a history of not changing HCs. Unfortunately that philosophy is killing this team and franchise right now because since the former regimes players have retired (Ben the last domino) it’s been a steady downward spiral until boom! We have crashed into earth. It’s like watching one of those mayday black box documentaries in slow motion.
