Unless he had a setback, Waddle was always going to play. The defense is just going to have to play better.

 

He better have a good excuse for this. Unless he is laid up in a beach bungalow with a bunch of college girls and a bottle of Crown, there is no excuse.

Not going to be as aggressive.
Going to go down easier and not run around.
Going to throw the ball away quicker to avoid the big hits.

These are all changes that will take away from what makes an NFL player elite and not just another backup... Playing it safe never works out.
