LMAO. You aren't so much pulling stuff out of your ass as you are misrepresenting what little research you do present.

You have been busted multiple times trying to pass off invalid statistics and you are ducking every one of them. Outside of Fitzpatrick you haven't brought up one player who truly supports your claim. You keep talking about al this evidence, but you haven't delivered at all.

Well Joe Haden looked amazing when compared to his Steelers teammates because our corners always suck. Haden looked expensive and expendable next to the Corners on a 0-16 browns team. That doesn’t mean he played better here. Mike Wallace looked great with Ben throwing him the ball. When he didn’t have a HOF QB he didn’t look as good. That doesn’t mean Tomlin did a fantastic job. It means Ben was awesome

How are these type of threads any different then the Tomlin hater threads. This thread won't end the debate. Someone could easily just say Tomlin is good at getting the most out of his players but suck at managing games.

His first and maybe his 2nd year. In years 3 and 4 he was #2.

During the 1940s, Cleveland Browns coach Paul Brown invented the "taxi squad," a group of promising scouted players who did not make the roster but were kept on reserve. To avoid All-America Football Conference payroll rules, team owner Arthur "Mickey" McBride, put them instead on the payroll of his taxicab company, Yellow Cab of Cleveland, though those players never performed any work for Yellow Cab, much less drove taxicabs.[3] The name stuck, and the practice of retaining a squad of ready reserves spread throughout professional football.

Tomlin is a great coach with players but sometimes its the players who need to step it up more to win not to mention when u have inefficient OC and DC players dont realize how good it is to be a Steeler until they go to inept teams for money Tomlin needs to release he// on other teams stop zone and blitz it will work

Tomlin is a likable coach but this is his team rebuilt after 2012-2013.

    2014- one and done
2015- almost lost to a backup
2016- beat a backup and smith then blown out by NE

2017- 40+ allowed to a Blake bortles team at home with 9 pro bowlers on the Steelers team

    2018- collapsed
2019- good season late season collapse
2020- 40+ allowed to a baker mayfield team at home
2021-40+ allowed again 3rd playoff loss 40 + allowed. 4 one and dones in 8 years.

If your job was a statistical analyst you can figure out the pattern here doesn’t take a genius lol. You can also keep playing coordinator carousel if it makes you feel better. Reddit oozes when they hear Mike Tomlin because they rather have a guy that looks amazing in aviators, vs someone fresh who can change this philosophy of being a joke in the playoffs.

All with a potential HOF QB. I have seen enough.

Not really. They didn't have him most of the season in 2019 and he was no longer even close to that level of play in 2020 and 2021.

Would take you more than all night if you researched it thoroughly. I saw this spoken about by someone that actually does research for a living and far more goes into it than people realize. Just to touch on it briefly, you’d have to examine every player to ever play under Tomlin, than cross reference who else he has played for, cover all the variables such as injuries, age, scheme fit, talent around him, ect. Then after all that you’d have to see if the results was significant enough to make that claim, at least a 60/40 split.

It just so much more complex than you are trying to make it that Tomlin is the sole cause for playing better or worse.

What me and everyone else under the sun was saying was that Ben wasn’t mobile enough to run it. How were we to know that once having a mobile QB they still wouldn’t implement the things that were discussed about Candas offense. Which leads me to believe it is Tomlin running this lame offense. Last week was an improvement though so we will see if that continues. I’ve noticed they are using the MOF more, little by little.

    Naturally.
