Clueless, no team is that desperate for an underperforming WR.

I would take a third for Claypool, don't the Steelers only have 5-6 picks in the 2023 draft, they aren't getting any comp picks in 2023 either.

I will believe it when Schefter or Rappoport report it, I don't see a team giving up a second unless they had a major injury to one of their top receivers.

Claypool is a good player. To get a third for him won't replace him. Nor will it towards a decent player on the line/CB/LB. Therefore it would go towards a RB/S which are not worth our time.

So why get rid of diverging that makes you have a 3 headed beast of WR for pieces you don't need?

Only a #2 pick can get us better pieces at positions we need help with.

I guess the best news of this would be is that he is coming off his best game of the season and has had his stock go up.

Claypool isn't worth a second though, maybe coming off his rookie season, but the last season and a half he's not worth it.

Next year he is Number 3 on the depth chart behind DJ and Pickens.

Pickens will replace Claypool easily on the jump balls and the midget will replace Claypool on the deep routes.

If the Steelers are wryd abt the amount of draft picks they have, they should trade out of the top 5 this year and pick a few more up

If that's truth, then there's no point for a third. Because it won't be anything better for another position in the third.

A GM may feel differently about Claypool than you do. You should know not to underestimate them.

I could see Claypool thriving in Green Bay with Rogers throwing to him and an OC that can use him better than he is here.

I have a feeling that if they trade Claypool we will watch him thrive on almost any team he ends up on. Steelers fans like to run players out of town if they don't immediately make an impact. Glad we didn't give up on Heyward.

Didn't make an impact? Guy had over 800 yards. In what was called a down year.

And while not throwing Canada under the bus again..... but is it coincidence that when Canada became OC Claypool?

    2020
    62 Catches 873 yards 9TD

    now his down year
    2021
    59 catches 860 yards 2TD

It's virtually identical except TD... and look at 2022. Only 1 TD to a WR after 6 games. and it's to Claypool

Honestly..I would trade Dionte before Claypool.. not because I don't think he is a good player,v but because I think he would get a bigger return and I think Pickens Claypool and hopefully Austin could be a solid 3 and be a match up nightmare

    I’ll type this slower

One of Claypools strengths and functions are his size

And you think we can replace that with a midget

You can play musical positions all you want

Yeah well they let Hollywood Brown go also, and He already has almost as many catches, and yards as two of His whole years with the Ravens.

Here you go with the misleading posts again. They cut Boykin. They traded Brown and a third-round pick for a first-round pick. That ain't the same thing. Not even close. Also, it's not as if Brown didn't produce for the Ravens. He caught 91 passes for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns last season.

Wake us if you ever want to make an attempt at relying on facts, logic, and reason. It would be a nice change of pace for you.

I like how the Steelers evaluate the WR position, I hope it can continue if we have to draft a WR.
Pickens is going to gobble up targets, and DJ will want his 80-100 Do you all remember Mike Wallace, AB
Manny Sanders, Someone has to go.

Only has 1 reception for 11 yards this season. He is only 26. If Claypool is traded he should be the #3
