Disgruntled Browns fan

Hey guys, I've been a Browns fan for 40 years. I'm just not sure if I can root for this team anymore. The Watson deal was the last straw. I've always admired the way the Steelers play the game and do business. I would like to be a Steelers fan. Your thoughts?

 

If this is actually for real...I think you would find a welcome. There are always some jags who will bust your chops. However, in my opinion, I'm not sure fandom is a choice...its kind of a birth right. You might be able to change your head but I doubt if you can change your heart! Good luck.

Thanks for your reply....you're right...it's hard to not root for the Browns. After all I have all my life, but when Art Modell took the team to Baltimore after the 1995 season I rooted for the Steelers until the Browns came back. Also I've in Steelers country here in Central West Virginia.

 

Lol I don't have a Kosar jersey but I do have a Jim Brown throwback jersey. Thanks for the welcome.

Not sure. Something about you being a Browns fan your entire life and then bailing on them doesn't sit right.

I understand how you feel. It's a big change...a change I don't take lightly....but I have always admired the Steelers. Just tired of the dysfunction of the Browns

Nope...I live in Central West Virginia....Steelers country. My dad is a Browns fan so that's why I was.

 

He's a better coach than what the Browns have had in thr last 30 years. I respect the fact the Steelers organization keeps their coaches.

 

I used to be a Charger fan (same as the Browns in my book) in my defense, I was young and dumb and full……

 

You can follow your heart but those things give out so it is what it is. You’ll need further vetting hahahaha.

a lot of us were born into the black and gold onesie and others by making a good choice but we all have our gateway drug and moments. I had no choice of my own it was bred into me. The step dad did his best to convert my clan and I to the raiders… couldn’t be done.

I think true fans appreciate the legacy of where or whom they hang their hat on as well as appreciate the greatness of the other teams piece and parcel. While some teams have better track records or history we all base to base ***** the same.

I admire Browns fans for sticking with their team

Although I wouldn’t let one in my house maybe the front yard if they brought beer

When the Steelers signed Vick it turned my stomach Watson is infinitely worse

Ok you are good then. Take all of your Browns gear and place them on the ground in front of your front door. From this point forward they will be used as doormats.

Once you do that your Terrible Towel and a bottle of Pro-Mike Tomlin Kool Aid will be shipped directly to your door.
