It certainly looked that way. He just looked more aggressive. Played to make plays instead of not throwing picks.

He still almost blew that tackle of Fournette in the backfield, but Heyward and Jack were there to clean it up. That said, I was more impressed with his performance Sunday than some of those games he had in the past with one or two big plays and nothing else. (See the Jacksonville game people keep bringing up. He had two interceptions, one thrown right at him, because their quarterback was awful, not because he did anything special.)

Geez, he already said he only watched one video. The 30min could well have included studio chatter, rather than nonstop game footage. Is missing one play that important?

No doubt. Ogunjobi was solid if not great. Edmunds as well. Maulet, Hayward come to mind as well. There a lot of really solid performances on Sunday.

Edmunds has been really good this year, almost polamalu like, maybe even better.

He claimed that Wormley was the only defensive lineman who made a play in that game, which clearly is not accurate.

I thought Ogunjobi had a great game. He was disruptive. Part of Brady's problems was the pressure up the middle from Ogunjobi and Heyward.

And we only rushed 3-4 for most of the game. Nice to see for a change. A lot of 3 ilb package as well.

I believe Maulet did a couple times. Reed and highsmith dropping into coverage as well.

Dig we must. IMO, we have a thesis on which to compete this year based on the following three points which must materialize. Point one: When Watt comes back, the defense will play at the very high level like it did against Cincy for the rest of the year. Chances of that very good. Less certain point two: Pickett matures as season progresses and plays near elite level (need not be Mahomes or Allen level if defense is that good). Point three question mark: We are not eliminated due to slow start and make playoffs. All this happens and we have a chance to make some noise this year.

I have now seen the play! It was good penetration by Ogunjobi. So, if I didn't previously see the play, this means I don't know what I'm talking about? Please help me understand.

You claimed that Wormley was the only defensive lineman to make a play. That simply isn't true. Your ignorance was due to not seeing the game, but it was still ignorance.

One observation of the Buc`s game for me is the sheer volume of mini splash plays we made. The clutch 3rd down conversions late in the game, both the throws and catches. The stops by the defense that prevented TD`s. A stuffed run here and a knocked down pass there.

My worry is, can we keep that up?

Here is Brian Baldinger breaking down the way Cam Heyward and Larry Ogunjobi dominated the interior Sunday against the Bucs.

The BIG question for this team, can we build consistency?

I like your post game takeaways. I usually agree with most if not all of your points most weeks. Good post.

Yes. That I saw on the specific highlights I watched! And as I said before, I didn't see the game in real time.

I find it funny that I later saw the play you're talking about, acknowledged it was good penetration and a good play but you're still wanting to make a point of this.

    You feel better now?

I find it funny that you posted as if you knew what went on in the game when clearly, you missed quite a bit. But hey, after arguing for a while, you finally acknowledged it. That's progress.

After today's game. I don't think the TB's game was all that big of a deal. They are playing like us. The only bonefide win ... remains with Cindy. Oddly enough, that is our only other win ... lol

We've tried to throw dirt on his ass for years. I honestly think he's about washed up. He's missing Gronk, his offensive line can't protect him up the middle and he's distracted by his off the field stuff. He made some p!ss poor throws last week. Time to hang it up. Hopefully they haul his carcass off on the JD Gator. Eff him.
