Bush actually made a play in a game for once.

Great game, given where we were at last week.

Receivers stepped up and made some tough grabs.

DBs played out of their skins.

When Trubisky came on and got sacked my first thought was "here we go again..." - but he showed poise and did just enough. That was the Mitch we thought we were getting when we signed him.

It's only one game, long way to go, but we needed that win.

Last I checked Canada was still the OC when Mitch came in today.

Finally they did put together a good plan. Maybe we change QBs every game???? I'm just happy for the win

I did not, needless to say.

Here are some points to ponder after a most improbable victory:

1- Steelers are 10-2 lifetime against Tampa Bay, which is their best overall record against any team in the NFL.
2- The Steelers now have avoided going 0-3 at home to start the season for 36 years.
3- Brady looks just about done. Stick a fork in him.
4- Only one game out in the division. The Browns suck- and the Ravens look ready to implode.
5- How many survivor pools got busted by this game today?

6- And remember this old and true adage- Things are never as bad as they seem, nor as good as they appear to be.

    Great and totally unexpected win

    Bush made a play unreal

    Claypool played to his potential.

Two key passes over the middle can you believe that.

Mitch played with heart and guts and vet experience not to go out of bounds late in the game

Edmunds played the game of his career

What does it say about defensive minds that our bench and practice squad guys played lights out better than our starters have.

Still a great and unexpected win. Did not see it coming .

Brady shouting at his offensive linemen one of them should of shouted back " Stop throwing the freaking ball into the ground you old piece of sh*t"

Did Tomlin make those tackles, break up those passes, return the kickoff nearly for a TD? Did Tomlin throw those TD passes and convert those third and longs late in the game? If you’re not going to blame Tomlin’s coaching when the team sucks wind then I’m not going to give him credit when they win…

Actually it goes both ways. I actually do credit Tomlin and the coaching staff for putting together a solid gameplan today. But you’ll NEVER dare criticize Tomlin when the team gets blown out of the water.

Good job Tomlin! Now let’s keep it going and see if you and your staff can put two strong gameplans together in a row and get on a roll we need it!

Yes, but they were on different platforms (one played longer, started...the other came in fresh after a couple weeks off). I'm not saying either one had the advantage, per their situation, but they were different nonetheless.

I'm not tooting a horn here but I will repeat, this was never a "QB problem"! I didn't see the game but the score tracker, to me, made it seem like a pretty sloggy/ugly game! I'd be willing to bet that many of the same problems reared their ugly head for the Steelers, just to a lesser extent. It did sound like Brady was having an off day as well (along with most of TB). The QB position is not the worry of this team though!

Probably the last game we will ever have against Brady. Nice to beat him and cause him to be a crybaby to his O-line all in the same game.

This might be the worst game Tampa will play all year, but it is still a sweet win.

Maybe Brady should've been all in with the team, instead of going to a wedding over the weekend .

I would be fine with Trubisky being the Don Strock to David Woodley relief pitcher. I would automatically sit Pickett a week because of the concussion. Friermuth needs to sit at least 3 weeks because it is his 3rd concussion.

Too bad one victory doesn't overshadow all of the losses including last week's drubbing to the Bills! It's time for him to be replaced. To me, it looks worse! It almost feels like he woke up and said, "oh, it's time to start trying now" (after last week). Sorry, but your best efforts should be in every single week. Especially when you are making that kind of cheddar! This isn't HS Football!
