Why call a run play on 3rd down? You know TB is using a timeout, so you are not burning up any time other than maybe 2 seconds. The run game sucks, so you know you are not getting a first down. Throw a pass and go for a first down. The only thing you did was give up possession and make TB use a time out.

Also, I love Najee's playstyle. But, he is a power back. He is not fast. Stop having him run to the sideline. Every time you do that, he is met by 2 or 3 defenders who are fast and beat him to the sideline. This happens without fail in every game. Make play calls that take advantage of your player's strengths. Stop trying to make the players fit into a cookie cutter mold.

 

That would be awesome. How about we throw 3 times, and give them the ball back with all their times out. LoL.

I remember that. Great rookie year but could only read half the field. Fortunately I’ve seen Kenny get to his 3rd and 4th reads often so far

 

Thats not part of the standard we follow in Pittsburgh.

 

Tomlin is so bad that we can figure it out that with 46 seconds left we cant do the math that we could run out the clock by running twice which costs them to take both timeouts and then you on 3rd down you could have run out the clock.
