    ‘yes, agreed again.

The original argument was about where/how to use Minkah. I say, use your best player to make the most impactful plays (in this case, have him play cover safety), and use your backups to provide run support.

I agree the backups failed on their execution (they are backups for a reason), but the coaches took Minkah out of the play. Coaches didn’t put the players in position to succeed.

It's not as if Norwood was in man-to-man coverage. He was supporting Wallace on the Bills' No. 2 receiver. He actually had less responsibility than Fitzpatrick on the play. Fitzpatrick was there to take away the back, but also to be a spy on Allen, who is a tremendous threat to run. They put more responsibility on the better safety. It took two players blowing their responsibility to turn that into a touchdown. Wallace got torched and Norwood took steps in the wrong direction for no good reason.

The way things are shaping up, DJ was right, Ryan Clark should suit up for a few games.

Remember when fans would rip Ike Taylor for dropping int's? What I wouldn't give to have a guy like him dropping int's now, but to drop them it helps to be within 5 yards of the throw

I hope the Steelers can get pressure up there middle on Brady only way to stop him.I actually believe Fornette is a bigger problem.

The Steelers have been lacking when it comes to finding the UDFAs and developing them. You could see in preseason that depth was an issue. Is it the scouts not finding the players, or is it the coaches not coaching them up? My guess is it is probably both.

    consider worst case scenarios:

    1. What happens if RB or Allen run and the spy doesn’t execute on shadowing them?
    2. What happens if Allen throws a deep bomb and the safety doesn’t execute in coverage?

    my answers:

    1. Bills get a first down and, at most, are near their own 20 yard line.
    2. Bills throw a 98 yard TD

which scenario do you want your all-world safety to be responsible for? Which one should the back up be responsible for?

my answer: on defense, on the road, against the best QB in the league and the best Team in the league, I want my all-world safety stopping Splash plays and TDs.

Death by a million cuts is still death.

I want Fitzpatrick being put in the position to make the largest impact on the game. That is done, in part, by moving him around and giving him as much responsibility as possible.

Just to quote all the TOMLIN believers. Tomlin is a great coach but if anything happens that’s bad it’s NOT his fault. I feel Tomlin is to blame for all of this

Yeah it’s pretty simple I’m sick of Tomlin, but I’m more sick of people who can hardly make a post without somehow bringing him up in a negative way.

When MT stops letting us down as a HC I’ll stop talking about him negatively.

    My advice…….Don’t hold your breath.

Some of you guys act like this is just a one or two year trend. his decline has been slow and steady for years.

Nope not Mikes fault it’s the players who don’t make plays. Mike is clearly out coaching and scheming his counterparts his players just let him down.

But this is a post about the D against Tampa and yet the only response you can think of is a negative Tomlin post

I don’t expect you to understand this

Sounds like our offense has to score 30 points this game.
