No one lead you or anyone else on..... You guys got there all by yourselves.... Tomlin only said he was open to coaching changes.... He never said that it was actually going to happen

    Not sure?
Are you referencing his post-game/Monday comments?
I think they just asked if he was willing to make some and he said if need be.
I can't see anything till the bye at best if any come at all.

Why would you think that? Tomlin only hires his friends and yes men. It’s why our coaching staff is a disaster.

I don't think any big changes are coming until we are 1-7 at the bye week.

Then it will be time to throw away Canada's motion offense, and start working on Kenny's offense for next year.

Tomlin said in his presser today, that he’s not going to make changes for the sake of changes. Which is a statement I really don’t like. It’s a professional sports franchise… I would expect any changes that get made, would be because they needed to be made in the best interest of the team…. Not for the hell of it.

And changes need to be made.

Unreal. We stink and Tomlin is not going to do anything. Great. Anybody else in this world if they don't do there job they get fired. Not with the Steelers. It's tradition and loyalty. That's a crock of ****!

Tomlin still thinks he can get back in the Playoff race this year, so he is not yet willing to commit to any big changes "YET".

Like I said earlier, if we are 1 - 7 at the bye week Tomlin will need to look himself in the mirror and start thinking about how he can make this team better next year. I don't think he has ever had to do this before; maybe the last couple weeks of a season, but definitely not after only week 5.

Yes, I kind of agree with Mike on this one.
    Losing sucks.
My ire is more at the Defense and the guy in charge there.

I certainly don't think they are going to fire anyone mid-season. If changes are going to be made, it would likely be very quietly - say someone other than Canada gets the playcalling duties for a game. If it goes better, then they keep those duties. But probably nothing we would hear about - we'd just have to notice that we stopped running every 1st and 2nd down, throwing short of the sticks on 3rd down, and sometimes remember that you can throw the ball into the end zone, too.

There are a lot of defensive minds on this staff.
But I would hold the guy accountable for his charge, that is Austin.
    That's just me though.

I don't see a point in making coordinator changes mid-season. It's not like a new coord can come in and completely change the plays. The new coord will be stuck with the same plays/players and, at most, call the game differently, which can be done by just telling the existing coord to do things differently.

If anything, changing coords now will just give Tomlin more excuse to blame others.

Nothing is going to save this season. The table and the pieces are set.

If I were the owners, I would tell Tomlin to *not* make *any* coaching change mid season, then come end of season, i would can the entire coaching staff including Tomlin.

I honestly dont know if they had 20 possesions that they wouldnt score (TD/FG) on 18.

Except for some Pat teams over the last 20 years you just normally never see that from this D over the past couple years.

Total domination and I dont know what to change at this point. yep..it sucks

The ravens switched OC in December and replaced him with xxxxxx? Hint It wasn’t someone from the outside and he certainly wasn’t lacking experience as a coach

U saying Steelers will win the SB if they change the OC?

U comparing the 2022 Steelers favorably to the 2012 Ravens?
