And still no experience as an offensive coordinator above the high school level. People sitting here crying Canada has no experience at the pro level and you’re defending someone that’s never even done it in college?

Here’s a solid idea. We should hire that hs coach from Arkansas that never punts, always kicks onside kicks etc. Worked out so well for him at div 12 college ball he’s currently looking for a job.

I know many high school coaches who have better offensive schemes then Matt Canada. I doesn't take an offensive guru genius to be better then MC. I also know many high school coaches who can design better blitz's to put pressure of QB when passing. We have a long way to go to cure what this team needs. It's going to take a long time and even longer time with Mike T as head coach.

    For OC's

The 49ers staff is mostly ex-Washington and I know all those guys.
Here is a guy that is interesting:
Bobby Slowik - He is interesting because He has been on the Defensive side (and pretty good there) and now on the Offensive side.

The Packers have Jason Vrable a Pa Native too.
I don't know a lot about him, but he does get a lot of respect..

I don't have anyone that I feel is a must hire, yet.

until the steelers pay a worth it salary, this is what we get. ryan day from ohio state would be my choice for OC. or head coach. he makes upwards of 4.5 mil. a year now. canada makes 1.5 mil. luke fickell would be my choice at DC. he makes upwards of 3.5 mil. a year. teryl austins net worth is 1-5 mil. you get what you pay for.

If MT gets fired, most likely Flores will be elevated. Someone mentioned Deion Sanders. I wouldn’t be opposed as he seems like a great motivator and manages to get the most out of what he has. Also, considering how top recruits want to play for him, he may have luck attracting top talents at reasonable salary

As I said, nothing has changed in the offense through two coordinators, what remains is Tomlin. He’s driving the game plan we see each week. Has anyone posted the chart of Kennys passes? Would be interested if it looks the same as Mitch and Bens.

And I’m not absolving Canada, still want him gone and for them to bring in an established OC and for Tomlin to be less hands on.

Slowik is interesting, but not sure I want the Steelers to make him OC without any exp. My dream would be for shanahan to get fired, decide he really loves being an OC, and subsequently sign on here

Ryan Day makes $9.5 million at Ohio State. He's not leaving to be an OC and he's turned down interviews for HC jobs in Chicago and Jacksonville (I think).

I doubt Shanahan will get fired, they need him to develop Trey Lance.
