Agreed. It's one thing to go tell coaches to take a hike and let the season finish, then go get coaches.

If I was Kahn I would be on the phone to trade Flores to the Panthers for a high draft pick STAT!

Could we trade Tomlin and a draft pick instead? I don’t even want anything back :roflmao:

After other teams see the regression of our players, and the other baggage that comes with Flores he will never be a HC in the NFL again

I'm pretty sure part of the reason why Tepper left the Steelers was because of Tomlin and the mediocrity. So I highly doubt he wants Tomlin or anybody Tomlin vouches for.

Side note on payton.... don't forget the saints still have him in contract, so they want a trade.

I’m not blaming Flores for anything at his position level after only a few games. His sample size as a HC on his resume tells a far more clear picture.

His gig here was a smart move and favor for both sides, but he’s gone at the end of this miserable season and we might as well get something for him. It’s a win win win.

Teams will see the regression of our players and attribute it all to our senior defensive assistant/linebackers coach?

I think he 100% regrets joining this clown show. He probably legitimately looked up to Tomlin and thought he was a great coach. Little did he know he was in for a big surprise. Joining this clown show has definitely ruined his stock. He might've got the Panthers gig if he was sitting at home.

Get rid of Tomlin and promote Flores to interim HC. We all know what we have with Tomlin. They'll never even get to another SB with Tomlin as HC.

Let Flores figure out what to do with Coordinators

Yes, Is he not coaching the linebackers,? Has the linebackers not regressed ? other than Highsmith and Watt

I still say Payton is coaching next year in Denver with the biggest contract ever given out to a head coach. Remember Hacket was not hired by the Waltons.

I also believe that after spending this year on his couch in Colorado cashing Denver Bronco paychecks, Mike Munchak will be back in Pittsburgh next season.

The real question is what are our options after Watt and Highsmith?

It's the same question at ILB because we lack talent. Myles Jack is good, Devin Bush is a bust and Spillane is limited.

Flores is a good coach, he's got a proven track record in Miami and New England. I don't think he can turn water into wine or walk on water lol.

Its funny you mention this but watching the large dropoff from Watts replacement made me remember how the front 7 had such good backups for so many years.

Cause we don't need no 2 time COY or 3 time Sb winning coach on our team ....

One thing I don't get is we totally last second dropped Tuszka for Reed right before the season started. It takes a while to get a handle of the defense and we were sort of grooming Tuszka to be the primary backup, not to mention he was good on Special teams. I get Reed might be a better pass rusher...but the biggest drop off when a starter goes down is not getting the run fits down. Tuszka had a fair amount of experience in our defense compared to any other back up.

But yeah... seems like we have been looking for a back-up OLB for a loooong time, a lot of wasted picks going towards it.

Here you go since I have to educate you…

    January 2018

    www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/steelers-owners-reportedly-lobbying-art-rooney-to-fire-mike-tomlin-after-playoff-debacle/amp/

May 2018 Tepper leaves Steelers to buy Panthers. Leaving a huge hole in minority stake that didn’t get filled until 2020 I believe.

Why do you insist on arguing with the most knowledgeable person on this forum???
