I agree....Ben was done, but Hell We have a better OL, and more weapons, and We are worse on Offense. I'm not taking nothing away from Pickett.....He's a rookie, and I do like some of what I see, but I'm just saying a lot was laid at Ben's feet last year, and He's gone ,and it's worse for now. Not saying Pickett won't be better, but saying all those People were wrong.

Matt Canada is probably the worst coordinator I have seen the Steelers have and that is saying something. The guy before him coach Randy was horrendous but even he was a huge upgrade from Canada

Pointless presnap motions confusing nobody. Missed out on his jet sweeps today. Wonder what happened. His 2 yards and straight to the sideline offense blows

They're a solid defense with a healthy Watt. I don't see them as being elite, not when they have to trot out Wormley, Spillane, Bush and most of the secondary other than Minkah and Cam.

If We could put Spillanes brain in Bush's body we'd have something there. Do We not have the technology.....????. LoL.

Wormley and Spillane are backups, but yeah, they play too much.

Bush was decent in the opener, but he has gone back to sucking.

The secondary wouldn't be terrible with everybody healthy, but I just don't know if or when we will ever see that this season. I'm including Kazee, who hasn't played a snap for them in a regular-season game yet.

Totally healthy they are elite. Edmunds with Kazee playing behind him is a helluva lot better than whomever the hell was out there today. If healthy Wormley wouldn't even be on the field. Sutton, Whitherspoon, and Wallace is a pretty good group. Take one away and you are in trouble. My wife kept asking me who #16 was today. First two times she asked me I said F if I know.

Ben was done and they needed to move on. But in his defense, he had two skills that the two starters this yr do not possess:

1). He had comeback guile. He could look like crap for 3Qs but click it on at the end to make it close. And a history that made the opposition nervous in those circumstances.

2). He had organizational chops. It’s 4Q, we’re behind, I’m doing what I want. You gonna bench me Matt Canada? I dare ya. Explain that to your bosses.

Trubisky and Pickett don’t have this. And that probably costs a win or two over a season.

I still like Bush better than Spillane. Spillane works his ass off to suck. Bush has potential to be better if he could just get it together.

I assumed it was Jackson, though I know next to nothing about him.

Losing Kazee really hurt. I think they had him set up for a big role in the defense and he was impressive in preseason. Also, it would keep them from having to start Norwood, who was absolutely horrid today. Wallace was beaten, but Norwood was really the one who blew it on the 98-yard touchdown.

At this point, I don't even view Bush as a starter, formality aside. He plays like he has no love for the game. Agree about the secondary and Kazee would help. But I still think this is a mid-pack NFL defense even when healthy. It appears Alualu is finished. Ogunjobi has been barely noticeable, and Cam is starting to show his age at times and besides, he can't do it all on his own. Damn shame because he deserves better.

I think Ben could’ve still been decent with an o-line.

Kendrick Green was his center and now 3rd on depth chart LOL Maybe that was their way to get Ben to retire.

He also threw the ball deep into the wind also when it counted most on their own 2 yard line and 3rd down.

So pretty much a phenomenal play and it didn't stop there.

Their WRs looked better than the Steeler's except Pickens who was a slam dunk pickup.

Pickett an Pickens weren’t bad. The end.
DJ should be given the game ball, for Buffalo.

Bush has a huge presumption he'll have a job in a couple years.

I give him one year with another team before he eventually falls off the map.

Probably going to start a rap career that appears to be in trend.

Like my response to Scribe, I just don't see it with the age of their interior line and Bush/Spillane, but Kazee and general health to that side of the ball would surely be a blessing at this point.

On the bright side the Browns have 3 losses, and either the Bengals or Ravens will have 3 losses after the game tonight :hehehe:.

The defense is decimated nobody can argue that but what’s the offenses excuse for 3 points?
