I had a brief convo with Bob Pompeani at a fundraiser Friday night and asked him about Pickett. He said he’s not in the ACC anymore, but he’s got incredible drive and is very competitive. He just hopes that Pittsburgh fans give him a chance and don’t turn on him.

Even our local sportscasters know what insufferable and fickle fans a lot of Yinzers are.

 

I can't answer that but I will say I'll wait longer than a game and a half to decide.

I bet they were scripted! Most are at the beginning of a game. I liked how they moved the pocket and KP around with some boot and 3/4 roll. The offensive line is horrible. I agree we need a new staff (OC included) but a lot of that, for me, is they put this team together! They also put this game plan together. This O Line is not going to do much to anything for any team (run or pass). This is a huge systemic problem that starts at the top! The HC!

Yes, but there is a poster here who says it doesn't matter if the superstars get the call. It was the right call. I don't see too many posts where someone tries to make two points and both are catastrophic failures.

I agree 100%. People got to be a bit patient he's already good but needs a better supporting cast.

Everyone talks about the Steelers receivers but Buffalo's receivers as a group showed ours up today. Even their backup tight end looked good.

I don't want to argue because You are correct, but this Qb You are talking about just went against the (I believe) top 3 defense in the league, and on His very 1st start in the NFL....
A lot think J. Allen is great.
He went 5- 6, and 10 tds with 12 ints His first season.
If this was Picketts 3rd season....I could get more on board with this.
