If you can’t see the difference between Pickett and Mitch, you shouldn’t call yourself a knowledgable football fan.

 

Pickett has some tools and definitely has a higher ceiling. If you get decent pass pro and just have average receivers (nothing too flashy) and an average running game, Pickett would succeed (MT might too), it's just that Pickett has a little more to his upside IMO.

Some QBs have an "it" factor. Pickett has it. He does need some help around him though.

100% this. I never wanted Mitch to be the starter, it was clear this was going to be a down year so why not let the rookie get reps and develop (or figure out if you need to get someone else). But what we're seeing is the same inept offense with Pickett in there as we did with Mitch in there. I do think Pickett brings more to the table as a QB than Mitch, but when the play calls are garbage, the OL can't block and the WRs don't catch, it's a recipe for disaster. Which is why there are 3 points on the board.

I'm surprised Najee's vision isn't the greatest. With that said, there isn't much to look at which is probably his main problem.

 

Defense was comically bad today. Like Blake Bortles playoff game bad.

I agree 100 percent with this. The QB needs to be judged on the results. The results are the same with Trub in there. Does Pickett look better? Sure. But man 0 TDs today. 0. Then your OC has to go. We've got the rest of the year to judge Pickett. We'll see how he does
