I'm not willing to go there yet, but 3 points on the day is pretty pathetic. What has Pickett done that Mitch didn't? He moves around the pocket more. Great, what has that gotten us? Picket is 27/40 272 0 TDS, 1 INT. Not exactly what you want to see.

There is a difference in a Qb rolling out, and a called role out.

 

So is Tomlin gun shy on challenges now? He’s been wrong on so many, but now, when he actually should challenge, nothing.

Immediate
*Need some veteran OL and DL in free agency
*Need to get some quality O/DL in the draft
**probably need to trade TJ to get max value
*Need to bring in an entire new staff. Need coordinators that are more focused and detail oriented. They actually coach and don't fall to pieces when they are not surrounded by the best talent in the league!

*Pickens should be WR#1

** I love TJ Watt but man, when he went down, this defense changed immediately for the worse. It's not all because of his loss, but that was the first domino! To put all of our eggs in that basket (especially with current health issues) is very risky. Again, NE model shows you can be effective on defense without a superstar! Just a bunch of blue collar guys that aren't afraid to work and of course, a fundamentally sound DC to run the defense!
