    Good point. I actually was speculating about this a week or two ago. Rooney should step in and make him get a real OC and have a more hands off approach. Of course that isn’t going to happen.

    I'm still neutral on breaking the bank for Watt. On the one hand, I understand he's a generational player. On the other, trading him could have stocked this team with badly needed draft picks to rebuild the interior lines. I am still of the opinion that by the time this team is ready to contend, Watt will be lucky to play 10 games a year and at what level is just conjecture.

    I wondered that on that play as well, but what we don't know is whether it was a designed QB run and linemen might have been downfield resulting in a penalty for illegal man downfield. There are times though when I know that isn't the case but other times we don't know.
