We've been planning on it for about 2 months now. A bit of a concern though is that we still do not have tickets and they are now skyrocketing out of control. Especially since they announced Kenny Pickett is starting. I believe Steelers nation is going to show up big time. I'm really disappointed on how much the additional fees are. We will still be going no matter what but I might need to start a gofundme account to make it happen. Oh well, good thing I'm working tons of OT.

 

I know a lot don't like Tomlin on here, or question Him severely, but I'm a fan....even though I question a lot of decisions, but I questioned decisions by Noll, and Cowher .
I just watched His press conference....So He might have Jedi mind tricked Me again. LoL

 

We certainly can do a lot worse but he will always drive me nuts with his lack of team preparation and questionable in game decisions. Those are just 2 of the dozen or more complaints I have about Mike.

 

I still honestly think it all boils down to when He 1st took over as a head coach, and it was reported(by many)that His practices were very hard, and grueling, and then they lost to Jacksonville in the playoffs, and they said He wore them out....so they were tired by the playoffs.
Then the next year He took it easier on them, and after that they went to two SBs. What I'm trying to say is I believe that has a lot to do with it, and how He decided to coach after that. JMO

Back on topic, I have watched a few breakdowns of Pickett's day. They support what I thought the coverage was on the first interception, a two-deep zone that allowed Claypool to be one-on-one with an undersized safety. Pickett is going to have to learn that Claypool doesn't play up to his size in those situations. Some think the decision to throw there was fine, but he needed to make a better throw. Some think Claypool just needs to catch that ball. All of them realize that wasn't even double-coverage, much less triple coverage. A third guy running into the frame well after the ball has been tipped and intercepted doesn't count as triple coverage.

 

I miss those days of Real Steel and Cardigan Sweater. Their opinions were awesome.

 

Just saw a funny post on social media about Pickett leading the team in TDs. Laughed for a second, then cried. Damn, this offense sucks.

 

He won't be on the hot seat with their best player and DPOY Watt is injured, and there will be growing pains with Pickett as the starter.

 

I saw something that said this is the first time since 2000 that no Steelers WR has a TD through the first four games, I think that will change real quick with Pickett as the starter.

 

Unless he's selfishly going for the record for rushing TDs in a season by a QB.

 

As long as he gets some wins, then I'm okay with it .

 

Most rushing TDs and most INTs by a QB in a season. Seems a bit dubious.

 

Im afraid the practice and coaching will set pickett back come game time
