Now apply that logic to every QB that loses a game in a weekend.

Or just a guy with a set of working eyes and some average or above reasoning skills.

It doesn't matter what we tweak or who we add at this point. We'll have to cut the dead weight (OC, DC, HC) before we can be considered a legitimate threat again. As it stands right now, 31 other teams and its fans are laughing at us for being cheap and unwilling to fire shi**y coaches.

It's late, but before I call it a night let me say this:

The season is not over. I still say we make the playoffs and than from there it's wide open, but first make the playoffs, w Pickett we get some surprise wins in the next few weeks and than it's a hoarse race,

    Hoarse race? :confused1:

    Shadowfax....the greatest of the hoarses.

Broncos should change their name to Denver Hoarses.

I’ve been so disappointed with Trubisky.

It really appears he was unprepared for running this offense. He looked terrible in preseason, and then once the season got going he was showing really bad qb throwing mechanics, careless throws off the back of his feet.

I don’t want to say he didn’t work hard at it, but it it almost seems like he was resting on his laurels when they handed him the job right after they signed him.

The thing that impresses me the most about Pickett is his moxy and swagger. The moment he stepped on the field he was directing OL assignments and even audibled some. Then his post game presser also displayed his leadership and ownership of his mistakes.

Just finished the game. So excited to see Picket in there. Even though its a loss I feel so much better for the season going forward.

Can't wait to see how he does after a week taking all first team snaps.

The energy changed when Pickett came on. The first INT was a statement of intent - I'm going to throw deep - and the second INT was trying too hard to make a play, and as a result making a bad decision.

The second INT was a killer but can't fault the guy's effort. Well, unless someone breaks the film down and shows he was missing open receivers all day. But I don't think he was...

So after they watch film on this today they will see Pickett had 1 bad interception that was on him. If Tomlin doesn’t start him next week he is a fool.

The pass to Claypool should have been caught. Safety is five yards away and he lets the other defender to his side and with his back to the ball swat it away.

    A tale of halves.

The first half certainly looked as if the Steelers were going to go down the same hum-drum way.
    Mitch passes - incomplete
    Harris runs for a yard..
    Mitch passes - incomplete
    Punt.
    The crowd was feeling that.

    Enter Kenny Pickett
There's some electricity on the sidelines and in in the stands.
The Defense actually got an interception.
You could feel a team with better energy.

After watching this game a couple times, the 2nd half, I can see that Kenny sees the field better than Mitch and sees the 'windows' to throw to.
He has a nice feel for the defense and the pocket and seems to maneuver well.
The Jets defense is nothing to sneeze at, they are pretty decent. Defense isn't their problem.

The Buffalo Bills are a different story.
The better team did not win when the Dolphins beat them, the Bills just might be the best in the AFC along with KC.
I don't think Pittsburgh can hang with them, but it is obvious Kenny Pickett gives them the best chance to even be competitive.

Claypoole is 6; 4" the guy guarding him is 5' 8" he should come up with this catch every time if he is worth his weight.
He is not, lets try Boykin.

I liked the way Pickett got up smiling after a few hits. He kind of reminded me of Andrew Luck.

Sounds like even the players were excited to have Pickett in the game. Diontae even commented on the burst of energy into the game. I feel the team will be more likely to rally around him.
