Juju had a quote during training camp about the Chiefs practices being harder than any he had in Pitt

I payed attention but wrote it off as "loving the one your with" talking up the new girlfriend

But tonight during the late game it comes out that Juju said he had learned more in 1 camp in KC than he did in 5 years in Pittsburgh

Based on results so far. It looks like a lot more truth to it than I want to admit

I don’t doubt it. Something is lacking with our coaching staff.

This is what I fear for Pickett. A kid with talent and no coaching staff to bring that talent to fruition. I just hope I'm wrong. I would like to see the kid make it in the NFL but with this coaching staff I'm not sure that's going to happen.

To be fair, Andy Reid might be one of the best offensive coaches of all time and comes from quite a coaching family tree when it comes to offense.

For some reason, this was not a great shock to me. :hmm:

What JuJu stated does not surprise me in the slightest. Fitchner was Big Ben's guy and Canada was a Tomlin call. Both had/have been bad. Canada though is much worse.

Hopefully Mike Sullivan receives more control of the Offensive Playcalling. That is what I would do anyways. Matt Canada is in over his head and it is showing far more than it did a season ago. For comparison, Pat Meyer is light-years ahead of Adrian Klemm. While both Chuks and Moore (more so Moore) did not perform well today, both have been better within the first four games than they were with Klemm a season ago.

Again, I truly hope that Sullivan takes over Playcalling Duties sooner than later. He has NFL Experience and has done play calling before. Should he perform well, roll with him moving forward.

Juju plays better and more consistent as a Chiefs WR than he ever did as a Steelers WR.

That will leave us without a Qb coach though....wouldn't it.

He is never going to be "The Guy" there though... Mahomes spreads that ball around to everyone.

True, but it doesn't negate the fact that Tomlin and our coaching staff sucks balls.

    Nope,

Reduce Canada's input in the Offense. Have him work with David Corely; the Assistant QB Coach. If he does not comply, boot his ass and have Corely take over the QB Coach Position.

Mahomes is a cheat code. The guy turns dead plays into seemingly effortless 30+ yard passes.

I do give credit to the coaching staff but having a guy like Mahomes at QB makes everyone look good.

It’s Andy Reid and what he requires of his players.

While what you say is true on the field, it doesn't explain HARDER PRACTICES or I LEARNED MORE IN 3 MONTHS THAN I DID IN 5 YEARS

    that's something different

I've never thought very highly of our coaching staff, so I'm not surprised at all.
Unfortunately Tomlin has this reputation as being a great coach so he's probably not going anywhere anytime soon.

I would imagine he's learned more because Andy Reid and Eric Bienemy are excellent offensive minded coaches.

I can't speak to the practices thing. JuJu has a brand he's always trying to grow, so taking shots at this former team probably plays well over there.

Our coaching staff sucks. It has for several seasons now. People who won't admit this are in complete denial. This will be the 6th straight season without winning a playoff game. The mistakes are continuous and glaring. You all know who I blame.

I guess you're forgetting the stats he put up with the Steelers in 2018 with over 1,400 yards, he won't put up stats like that in Kansas City.

    79, 10, 89, 46.

Those are JuJu’s yardage for each of his first four games. Zero TD’s.

Whatever great things they are teaching him doesn’t seem to be making much of a difference

We'll see. At the rate KC is going, Juju might get past 1,400 yards.

Spilling the Beans? Anyone paying attention for the last decade knows how bad this HC sucks. He was just able to stack wins in the regular season with a HOF Ben dominating the state of Ohio and those two horrible programs (4 wins every year)

You’re clearly not paying close attention to whats going on over in KC.
