Watt would have stopped that Jets touchdown up the middle.
(How is the steelers defense solid with Watt and not solid without Watt when teams run up the middle with success?)

I agree. Logically then another defender (like Highsmith) playing at a high level also makes the whole Defense better.... Make sense?

 

Do you think it's a coincidence they're 0-7 without him in the lineup? Since Watt became a Steelers they have lost every single game he hasn't started.

 

Would be nice to have Ingram but mr I’m the smartest guy in the room Tomlin traded the defensive player of the month

 

No coincidence but I'm pointing out that Highsmith's high performance also helps the whole Defense just as Watt's high performance helps the whole Defense. Can't say Watt makes the defense solid but Highsmith's high performance is irrelevant which I took to be disco1981's point.

Well I was 100% spot on. This loss was season defining. We went from controlling our destiny by beating the Jets to needing the Jets to win their last game to make the playoffs. Pathetic.

I saw it 10 days before the game. Tomlin apparently couldn’t see it and stuck by Mitch two quarters too long and ruined the season. Terrible coach.

 

Every Watt makes it brighter

 

Gunner's fumble against The Cheatriots cost us the playoffs. We 100% win that game if he doesn't fumble there.
