Defense can't stop the pass now.

And the rest of the defense as the game goes on. They seem to turn into marshmallows the later it gets

Yes it does. Defense sucks without Trent Jordan Watt.

People need to understand the difference between a description like, "solid" and "good". Solid does not infer good! It's like the term, "overrated" does not mean bad necessarily! The problem is not the QB position. As I said before, the defense is having some huge let downs (especially with the loss of TJ). But the O Line is not helping the offense out at all, as well! And the receivers, have had some key drops and boneheaded plays.

They were predicted to be bad this year. Honestly, for the long term, they can use a top 10 pick to grab a new offensive tackle.

They put out so much energy and effort, by the end of the game they’re limping around.

I was supposed to go to a fishing tournament outside of Charlotte this weekend. Decided to bail on it since the weatherman was calling for 50mph winds w/heavy rain. I woke up Saturday morning and checked the weather it was 60 degrees 4mph winds and sunny

A sack instead of a pick in that position could have been HUGE. Punt the ball and make the Jets go the length of the field instead of half. I know there will be people who will say it wouldn't have mattered, but we don't know what would have happened.

This is what I've been saying. Defense is worse than the offense and it doesn't matter who the QB is, but Pickett needs experience.

Note:. Roethlisberger lost when he subbed for Maddox against the Ravens. It's not the end of the world.

MLBs suck so bad all passes down the middle work.

They keep putting in Spillane on 3rd down and he keeps giving up first downs.

I totally agree...., but at least now We see what we have at Qb....You, Me, and everyone knows what Trubisky is....a backup Qb....no shame in that.....I wish I was a backup Qb

Reasons to be optimistic. We get to see if Kenny p is the answer.
We get a couple high draft picks next year.
We are not that many solid players from contending. It’s just not this year

How many passes did NY complete over the middle? Seemed like 80+ % of their completions at least. Spillane and Bush are terrible.

Pickett’s first to picks, both hit the receiver’s hands… Bad luck and good defensive plays, unfortunately. He probably shouldn’t have thrown the 2nd one, but he likely had a lot of adrenaline pumping and wanted to make a play.

In the long run and in the grand scheme of things, a terrible season could be just what the organization needs.

True! Also, the same O Line and receivers are going to be playing with both QBs, so...... Not really going change the results too much! I don't care who is playing the QB position; if you can't protect the passer or get push in your running game, if your receivers have trouble separating and catching the football and if your defense has gaping holes while getting no pressure on the opponent's QB (which this describes the Steelers to a tee), then you're screwed!!
