Reports this morning have placed his odds quite less than 50% as the rib is still a cause for concern. Heard it on ESPN. if he doesn't play we stand next to no chance of winning. Hate to be that way, but Batch is just not the answer for such a huge game.

Haven't heard anything reliable personally. We'll need to wait and see what happens in practice today.

O.K. Without Ben - here's the gameplan. Victory formation on every offensive series. Take a knee, punt and hand it over to the defense. Hopefully they can produce a pick-6 or get the ball into field goal range.

HELL i'll go out on a limb and say if batch play's he will have a much better game than lst time, im thinking / hopeing he played bad last time due to rust and not being famliure with the recievers, with two week's practice he should be fine :herewego!:

Just to make it fair. Can the Steelers loan a player to the Ravens and borrow a player?
    Say Wallace for their waterboy?
How bout Hampton for Ray Rice?
See if he can gain any yards beyond Ngata And Hampton. Might be like trying to run past the wall of China.

Ive been listening to ESPN radio all day, and they are still reporting 50/50. I dont think he is going to play either but, you have to feel a little better with Charlie having now two weeks of prep time.

No joke seriously. During the browns game I got a sigh of relief ever time our offense walked off and our defense walked on. And I loudly explained "TIME TO SCORE".

    Just never happened :(

Bob Labriola ‏@BobLabriola ABrown, Troy practice fully. Ben, Cotchery limited. Adams, Colon, Leftwich, Starks (back), Woodley do not practice

    For what it's worth.

Yeah, and we'd have to kick Foster out to RT with DeCastro at RG. Not to mention Pouncey may move to LG with Legursky at C if Colon can't go. Ouch!

People seem to be forgetting this. D can play lights out, and with a reasonable offensive performance, with Brown back and Dwyer getting the bulk of the carries, i like our chances, even with Charlie.

As bad as this sounds, if Ben is not even sure he will play, don't play him. While they might not have nearly the chance of winning without him, he doesn't need to get himself any more injured playing at less than say 85-90% or so. We all saw last year what happened when Ben isn't at full capacity.

...and don't forget our friend Polamalu theres alot of buzz going around in the media the prospect of his return sunday sounds good.. He's in the full practice mode so guess will find out tomorrow.
We need a Flacco strip & score .. lets hope he's brings his A-game.

Im sorry but I dont. Run the ball. The number of fumbles last week was a fluke.16s arm didnt get any stronger in one week.

That was one of the things that pissed me off last week. Leading up to that game, Charlie had said that one of the things that upsets him is hearing people say he doesn't have the arm strength anymore, he said he can still throw it out there, um no Charlie, you can't. Know your limitations, the team will be better off for it.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. The Dink and Dunk is more like Sink and Sunk whenvever Batch or Leftwhich are playing. I say run the ball and don't be afraid to be aggressive when the game demands it.
