Witherspoon IMO sucks but I'm thinking his replacement sucks worse. Zach Wilson will probably have a career game. This would be a great game to have Watt freaking him out.

I mentioned this before. I would have loved to see Watt and Highsmith rushing against the scrubs filling in at both tackle spots for the Jets.

Very disturbing. Some people were saying that is a fencing response from suffering a brain injury. There is another one called decorticate posturing but that one didn’t quite fit what Tua was doing which is good because that is the more serious of the two.

And yes, Miami has handled this about as poorly as they could.

Don’t like seeing Sutton added on there.

Ugh. That's trouble. They are already down two of their top five defensive backs. They cannot afford to be without Sutton.

It certainly looks like a fencing response. He has a brain injury now. There is no question about that. I am certain he suffered one during the game against Buffalo and took a second blow to the head last night, which is very dangerous. That danger has not passed yet, though it may be short-term or long-term.

Yup. They resigned Gilbert to the practice squad… Not sure if that’s precautionary or they plan to elevate someone knowing Sutton won’t be able to go. They dropped and Olineman, who’s name escapes me.

Best have a field day against a low tier tackle. Good that Minkah was a full participant but now Sutton will probably be ruled out

Losing Withertoast is no big deal. Wallace will start i'm sure as well as Maulet if Sutton can't go.

Wilson will be slinging it so their best be pressure.

Two concussions in two games is what kept Sidney Crosby out of hockey for a full season. I remember having the discussion here on the board about why he was out so long as compared to an NFL concussion. So of it has to do with how the NFL handles things differently than the NHL but also vastly different skill sets and playing conditions. Lights on ice, balance and possible vertigo, lingering headaches and memory loss. All these things can add up.

Hopefully like you said they are now aware and caution will be the guiding force. Hate to see a promising start to his year possibly wiped away along with his livelihood due to it.

They were already aware. Everyone who let him play knew better. They did it anyway.

Missing just four weeks seemed insanely optimistic for that sort of injury. They aren't going to risk him doing more serious damage, certainly not with a 1-4 start and looking at what is likely a lost season.

The secondary is looking crazy thin. Going to need some quick healing.

That was the vast majority of the problem Sunday. Didn’t have the bodies for Nickle/dime defense.
