Not sure how it works but could we be flexed into primetime week 16 against the Bengals?

I guess if it does happen that would mean we are still playing for something so that is a good thing. I am headed to this game with my wife. 2nd game I have ever been to at Heinz. Ironically enough the other one was also against Cincy on Sunday night in 2007. Would love for it to stay at 1pm hassle wise but it would be cool to be there if it was a big time playoff seeding game.

Sunday night is currently San Diego at NYJets. Not sure NBC is going to want that as there is a good chance both teams will be out of it by then.

Since both are AFC teams the game would be given to CBS during the day.

Not sure if FOX can protect all since they would essentially be losing a game that day if NBC picks one of their games since CBS would get the all AFC matchup back.

choices for possible good games that day are:

Giants at Ravens. No way FOX is giving up this game. They may move it to 4 o'clock slot though.

Buffalo vs Miami- CBS game could mean something but they would have to announce flex at least 2 weeks in advance since it is not week 17 yet & there is no guarantee it will mean something at that point so I don't see it happening for this game.

Titans vs GB=Could mean something but again just like above Buffalo/Miami situation so no go on this game either. CBS game

Cowboys vs Saints. FOX game. Again may mean nothing 2 weeks out but would be a ratings graber. NBC may be sick of Cowboys though

Vikings vs Houston FOX game. This could be a possibility but again not sure how it works as FOX would essentially be losing a game and not getting one back

SF vs Seattle. FOX game. Same situation as Vikings vs Houston

That is about it. If FOX cannot protect all and NFL is OK with them losing a game and not getting one back I guess they can take one of theirs. If not then the only other choice I see is our game.

Not sure if NBC would want another Cincy/Steeler game this year though.

The NFL allows a maximum of 5 primetime games per year. The Steelers will have already hit that number by the Benglas game.

Nope - CBS has the rights to that game and they are not going to give it up to NBC according to Cincy Enquirer.
