I think it kind of depends how we lose. If we lose and put up a decent score, then nothing happens.

If the offense remains the same I think Trubisky needs to go first. It seems receivers are getting open so maybe the system is working but the QB is not performing.

 

I think the Steelers will smack the Jets around, win by something like 27-10. Trubisky will look good enough, Najee will run for 103yds, a decent amount of sacks and a couple of turnovers offering plenty of proof to the optimists that this team is a solid dark horse contender. Tomlin will say as much in his presser. We’re in contention, can’t blow this promising season by playing the untested rookie QB.

Then the next 4 games happen…..

 

I’m sure other fans love MT. I certainly would as long as he was as far away from my team as possible.

I swear the man could not win a playoff game for 20 years and people would still be in favor of him.

 

I only picked Canada , because the likelihood of Pickett starting against the likes of a Buccaneers defense, then Eagles, and Bengals is highly unlikely. If he was going to start it was going to be either against the Jets or Falcons. If Mitch looks as bad in the next four weeks as he has in the first three and still ends up starting against the Falcons then that would tell me that Pickett will likely not play at all. It will also confirm to me that Pickett was a reach pick especially if the Steelers end up winless during that stretch.

It will be none of the above, but that was not a choice. It was the perfect time to start Pickett against the Jets and Tomlin failed miserably.

How could he not see that? So stubborn or stupid or both.

They claim Ben looked terrible in practice his rookie year. He would not have played if Maddox didn’t get hurt. Pickett will either lose just like Trubisky or he will win. So what’s the harm in playing him.

 

I hate to be the first break it to you, but what happened 18 mother loving years ago has absolutely nothing to do with now.Why is it so hard for y’all to understand that is the anomaly not the norm?
We are 1-2 with 14 games to play, have a myriad of other issues contributing to our losses, but screw it we are just going to throw in the towel. Therookie that played 30 minutes of football against BACKUPS is our savior! He will cure all our ills, change the oil in your car, and cook you bacon.

 

He is also played with backups perfectly

 

I think that Tomlin will say something that may suggest that we will see Kenny take a few snaps on Sunday. I am sure there will be more than 1 Kenny question at the Tuesday press conference, we will just need to listen for all the undertones of Tomlin's answers.

A 10-day break would be a lot of time to get Kenny ready for his first real NFL action.
