Until the offense improves

We are going to struggle big time.
We need to work the intermediate passes especially in the middle of the field.
I just don’t get why they continue to run these same plays that are not working.

 

With that said I’m still optimistic that we can continue to improve as the season goes on.

In the preseason they were throwing passes to the MOF, these first two games nothing , it's the same crap throwing passes to the sidelines short of the sticks.

How did you take that as Muth calling out the play calling?

 

This Browns game I feel has to be it for Trubisky to turn things around and start playing better or they have to consider making a change and going to Pickett for the Jets home game on October 2nd. Even if they win this game in Cleveland and it’s mainly because of the defense and Trubisky is just mediocre or worse and really has no impact on the victory that’s just not gonna be good enough and you have to give Pickett a shot I feel the following week. Do it while you are 2-1 as well against a bad Jets team at home before you play back to back games against the Bills and Tampa and Josh Allen and Tom Brady.

 

I am not absolving Matt Canada of blame, but Trubisky has been awful.

I think Pickett needs to play sooner rather than later if the Steelers want to have a chance this year.

Play Pickett now. Let him gain experience and work through his growing pains. Hopefully he will be playing his best football down the stretch

He in a great way said just like last year we moved the ball and scored using tempo or no huddle which we should do more of.

You could read into however you want i suppose. I cant stand watching now 20 games of this offense so i interpreted the way to make me feel better

 

for the most part I’ve got no problems with the play calls. Trubisky is making poor decisions imo. Staring down receivers, missing reads, ignoring or not seeing wide open receivers for checkdowns…
Our offense is way too conservative imo. I think part of that is by design, but part is also on trubisky’ s miscues

We didn’t see the middle of the field being worked enough with Ben and now Mitch. Something is awry.

Hes played 20 games in this sh!tshow of an offense.

 

Its all Tomlin. He doesn't have the sack to be a NFL HC he settles for middle of the road and absolutely refuses to adapt a game plan during a game... I've been screaming this for years. If this was ANY other organization he would have been fired by now. They haven't won a playoff game since when..2016 and that was the field goal game I think

 

Trubisky has not been good but my blame starts with Canada. I hate this offense and approach. It looks a lot like last year's mess and we're already hearing the same comments from the frustrated players and idiot head coach. That said, the only way to really know is to play the kid. If Ben, Mitch, and Kenny all have similar issues it's time to fire the OC.

 

Trubisky is who he is and all knew it going into the season. He is here for a reason, and he is doing what he did where he came from.
Coaches think he gives us a better chance to win over the rookie which is why he is here and on the field.
Is he better than Mitch? I don't know and neither does anyone else.
OL is terrible, no run game, no offensive rhythm, lets put Pickett in and all is fixed?
What happens if he gets in and he is not the savior that all want him to be?
Impatience is something that doesn't make things better (fans in the stands chanting "Kenny") as nothing is proven or assured no matter who is playing. All of the GM/HC's in the stands are doing this team a disservice. The team needs more time and thankfully we are still tied for 1st place with all others so we should support who the coaches have playing at this time. Time will determine what changes people who are paid to make these decisions will make. JMO>

I’ve yet to see the chiefs try the same plays that don’t work 1000 times, so they can’t possibly be the same offense.

 

After reading some of your posts it’s clear you don’t see much.

 

lol… let’s not get personal. I concede that if steelers get Mahomes, chiefs OL, and Andy reid as the OC, then steeler O will be awesome!

now, living in the real world of having Trub, junk OL and Canada, then who cares what the chiefs do.
