who is possibly out there?

we may need to add an OLB for awhile. even when watt gets back it won't be immediate. maybe this is where mason comes through for us or we just raid a practice squad. we do have hamilcar on the PS and i can foresee him moving up this week.

 

The guy who stepped in for him didn't look bad. We just looked gassed in overtime, yet still stopped multiple Bengals multiple times. So I'm not sure if we need someone or not.

I still think it's best to get a 5th round pick for mason. Unless someone is willing to let go a decent olb, but i don't see them doing it for a back up QB.

 

Delontae Scott would likely be the next man up from the practice squad as Hamilcar is on IR. It is also possible that a reunion with Taco Charlton could happen as well. Jason Pierre Paul maybe?!... though I doubt it personally.


Perhaps a trade with either the Rams or the Cowboys. That said, very seldom does Jerry Jones trade for much of anything. Stan Kroenke though?! He would be willing to bite should Matthew Stafford's elbow woes continue.

 

reed is fine but we still need depth and would rather a veteran guy. there are some still unsigned guys out there.

If our worst fears are confirmed there are a few guys still available that could contribute at OLB, Jason Pierre Paul, Tak McKinley, Everson Griffen and Pernell McPhee are all unsigned.

Well the season doesn't just stop. Reed will be good, no not TJ good but we have to not put those expectations on him either. Another get would help ease the pain somewhat. We could still have a good season and hold our own until he gets back. Not the same level but still able to win. We have other players that are pretty good too ya know.

 

The Niners will be less likely to part with Garappolo if Lance is a bust.

 

There's a reason all those guys are unsigned, they're all washed up.

I would go find someone younger, not sign an older player like JPP, maybe grab a player off of another team's practice squad.

Darth Hoodie is always up for a good trade they should see what they want for Judon.

 

We have other good players that’s true. Just none on Offense

 

Of course you’d prefer a younger guy with upside but the reality is that anybody that’s any good is signed. All the guys I listed are available for a reason but I’m sure one of them could rotate in and set the edge for 20-30 snaps a week and not kill you. That’s all they need right now.

The alternative is more Jamie Jones, he was the best PS player available when they went looking a few weeks ago.

 

Could do with some blitz action on Mac Jones if he's fit. So someone stepping up immediately would be handy.
