I'd say the FO put a lot of effort into fixing the Oline woes this past offseason.

Oh there's no denying that, but how does it take so long to fix a glaring problem? It blows me away we are still having Oline issues 5-6 years later. I just don't get it, what are we doing wrong? Houston loses lineman left and right and doesn't miss a beat. Tampa Bay has lost 4 out of 5 of their starting lineman at various points this year yet Doug Martin hasn't missed a beat as a rookie. There's other teams as well that deal with injuries at their Oline and they don't have problems running the ball.

9-7 should make playoffs. but we get Ben back and go atleast 10-6, maybe 11-5 if he's in next week for Rats. Atleast 10-6 though and go into the playoffs hot winning 4 straight, and pull a repeat of 2005. Same thing happened that year, we were looking good, then lost Ben for a few games, and then won the super bowl. just saying and hoping!

No bridge for me. But this season has turned into a don't give a f%#k any more. Since the players don't seem to. Then why should we?

This is when things get good. Every organization needs the splash of cold water in the face to bring a few changes.

For the last few years many have seen the need for house cleaning but it hasnt happened. They havent taken a few spots seriously, maybe now they get rid of the token back up QB positions and bring in some youth. Also time to trim some age and a few big contracts.

This team is bad, it has been. You have to be able to get turn overs, The last 2 years they cant. You cant turn the ball over- they do. You got to get 6 points when in scoring position- and the last 2 years they dont have good TD percentage from the red zone. Today was just sad. Reminded me of the 80's

I'm here forever. I bleed black and gold regardless how bad they play. If you suffered through the 80's this isn't nothing.

We went 12-4 last year, two years ago we were in the Super Bowl and this year we have a winning record and hold the last playoff spot! Yeah we've been bad for some time now. Time to clean house!

Some of these posts tonight are priceless. I'm making a list of all the quiters so I can call you out and rub your face in it when you're proven wrong!

...You know that but I don't.

    Not yet anyway.

It's up to them to change that.

Disappointing, but not entirely unexpected given our injury situation. Nothing a few beers won't fix.

Besides I thought the world was supposed to end in a few weeks anyway...

They lost to Cleveland, but had a chance to win with 2 minutes left while giving the ball away 8 times and playing with their 3rd string RT, 2nd sting OG, and 3rd string QB and missing 2 WRs, one a starter. Just by inserting the starting QB in there they win this game. And last weeks.

Most teams wouldn't have even been in the game under that scenario. But they were thanks to a D thats rounding into form.

Its called perspective. Get some instead of making blanket statements that lack depth of thought and insight.

They get the QB back...and he's rumored to be back next week...and this team could start rolling again.

Im sorry, I just don't see the "we suck" and "we're out of it" school of thought that permeates this board.

First off, "rediculous" is not a word. Secondly, it is quite presumptuous of you to attempt to translate what I meant in my post. So let me help you out. What I meant is that none of this is worth getting excited about. It doesn't mean anything - these guys do what they do to entertain us and we pay handsomely for that entertainment. So when that entertainment is no longer entertaining, some of us will find other sources of entertainment. That doesn't make a person less of a fan. But what do I know because I'm not a "true" fan like you.

I for one will not be jumping from a bridge tonight. I am waiting to find out if they re-sign Wallace before I do that. Now if THAT happens Tomlin_Era and Vegas will have to talk me off the ledge. LOL.

If I didn't know better, I'd swear you just come here to troll people who are upset after a loss. They're venting. Maybe you can change what they say one sardonic post at a time...

Trolling? No! I'm generally upset when Steelers fans make some of the comments that they make. I get pissed when they lose too, but you won't hear me trash talking my favorite team. When we're talking normal criticism I have no problem with that, but "take the rest of the year off to get beter draft picks" That's silly. Some of the fans here talk more trash on the Steelers than any fans of other teams I have come across. I guess in a way I'm just venting to, but trolling? Not hardly!
