What about this scenario?

Ben wasn't as hurt as we all thought, (Doctors were in on it). He just wanted to appear to be hurt so that he would be sure to home for the birth of Ben Jr. He stays out a couple of weeks, the coaches find out, for a fact, that our backups suck. (more on that during the off season). Ben comes back to beat the Ratbirds in Baltimore. Then we run the table on our way to 7! Unlikely? I think not.

 

And I saw Elvis yesterday in Scranton Pa.

The only (?) problem with you argument is that Ben made the trip to Cleveland. Hell, if he wasn't really hurt and he made the trip, why not play him?

I guess they could run the table and win #7, hell, they won't be playing those playoff games in places where they have problems like Ten, Oakland or Cleveland.

 

How about this scenario.

We bring Ben back too soon. He gets killed and the Steelers get trounced by Balt next week. I fly to Pittsburgh from southern CA to see these bums play the Chargers. I spend another $1000+ to support these bums.

I booked my flight and bought the tickets for the SD game 2 days before Ben got hurt. F****** awesome.

 

Cleveland is only, what a 45 minute flight from da burgh?

Man, I feel your pain. I have luck exactly like you do. Have fun at the game and hopefully your not watching Byron, Batch, or Hoyer. Looking at both of those teams- man- its a toss up.
