Really do suck when they think the Steelers would do just fine without Ben. It's really funny how some people on this board and the experts think that the Steelers would be just fine with lefty and Batchy as our QB, what a shame. Batchy and lefty looked like they fought 12 rounds of boxing right out of prison before the 1st qtr ended, make that the first minute. Pathetic, that the Steelers are forced to use these two as backups in all honesty...

I love Ben as my QB, but I don't want him back too soon. Everyone wants him back next week, but at what cost? Rest him next week, then bring him back for the run into the playoffs. If we get that far.

 

If he is cleared by the doctors, there is absolutely no reason to sit him. It's pretty simple.

since we will probably lose next week anyway i say play who ever you want and keep ben saved than hope with ben to win the other 4 games , and we are in, but if we think we can win in baltimore with ben than play him .

 

If our commitee of running backs could have held on to the ball, we wouldn't be having these posts. Batch looked good as a game manager, horrible as a guy who had to win by throwing consistently.

 

You don't "save" your franchise QB for anything. If he is cleared to play, he plays.
