I agree 100%. I never was on the bandwagon completely that it was ben holding the offense back last year. Then the more I thought about it and listened to others I thought well maybe the right qb with the right skill set and mobility would open up Canada's playback and they would kick on all cylinders. I was wrong. They have a long way to go offensively and as it stands now I'm more than unimpressed with Canada and his offense. O-line was as bad as advertised but the D fought hard. Hopefully they learn from this heartbreaking loss and improve dramatically. If not mediocrity or less will be the new standard.

This QB is trash.... Steelers should've scored at least 20 points off 5 turnovers...Wow!!! Mitch sucks...

Checking my play-by-play sheet, it is painfully obvious there are too many "Mitch Tribusky pass, incomplete" boxes....
combined with the injuries, this one is going to hurt.

Got to hand it to the defense, despite some shaky officiating, they've played well.

Mitch needs to be more decisive with running the ball.

The play calling wasnt terrible, but if we dont pass the ball downfield it'll the same issues as last season.

 

So I used to say 6 games to see how mitch does. But honestly he does that the next game, and we need to see y'all know who.

 

All I can say is the offense didn’t turn the ball over and the line did better then I expected. We was t supposed to win this game, but we did and a division win at that. I’ll take it.

 

Not convinced about the QB choice yet. But as good as the D played they had some stupid penalties that put us in OT.

 

Kudos to that defense.
I started packing up at the end of regulation, and a couple times in OT and the defense just kept it coming.

I'm not really sure what I would want to say about the offense..
Tribusky has to take it up a notch, but there are a lot of things that need some attention.
I'll sleep good on the flight from Cincy.. then look at some clips.
This game has a lot to unpack.

Trubisky was fine. He worked with what he was given. This was a pretty damned good D and he made some nice throws. He took care of the ball and didn't try to do too much. This online needs a ton of work. Don't think k you would have seen anything different with picket except possible rookie mistakes. Relax.

 

I haven't really been on the "fire Matt Canada" train before, but if his playcalling doesn't get better by week 4 then a change needs to be made!!

 

SDOT just wants attention

 

I'm a realist as much as possible. The thing that stuck to me is trybisky off in his throwing. There was 2 amazing catches due to him being off throw. And then a good bit off throwing..... if he competed 70% solid throws (not counting those 2 where the WR had to stretch), i would be OK..

But I'm also not a fan of the playbook. However Canada could say he wants the field to open before he does that.

I'll give it a couple more games.
