Anybody going? What's y'all's plans? Staying at Home? Heading to a party, having a party, to a Bar?

And of course the most important question...What do all you slobs plan on eating?

    Go Steelers

Hang on with that eating question. A member post a what's cooking thread every game day. So I'll answer where I'm going. To a family's member house surrounded by fans of the Eagles. Sort of fun since we live close together. We hear them yelling and they hopefully here us.

To answer my own question...Not sure yet...

I live in a small town West Middlesex Pa. and the rumor is that the Steelers are gonna be blacked out on Dish ( I don't have the NFL package ) and CBS is carrying the Browns...

I'm gonna call tomorrow and if blacked out, going to a local watering hole...Or thinking about running up to Lowes and getting an antenna to bring in KDKA

Bitter sweet for me. We will be driving to the coast for a few day camping trip...right ON the oceanfront. Can probably get some of it on the radio, but coverage is slim pickins on that drive. I will have to look for final score at our destination. :(

Watching Pitt vs Tenn today on ABC at home with my Lady and Steelers at Cincy tomorrow on CBS again with my Lady at home probably eating hot pastrami sammies both days on pretzel buns or ciabattas. Hurricane Kay is suppose to provide decent thunderstorms both days so no BBQ-ing.

    Currently at pymatuning

Going to catch a bar somewhere half way home

Probably leave at halftime and get home a little late and back up the DVR to the beginning of the third quarter

This would be a game I'd have stayed away from in a survivor league. Bengals heavily favored but still the Bungles and any given Sunday the Steelers can destroy them. Definitely not a team I would pick week 1 just for the potential of being knocked out of the competition.

I know I'm staying away from it on the gambling prospective. Although I usually don't bet the Steelers because of My heart being in it. Usually I just bet the over/under on games won by them for the season, and that's all.
I save My actual gambling for other teams, and college......so I think more clearly about them. So far 12- 0 this year.

I have a storage shelf to put together in the basement while I do laundry and potentially just sit and watch the game. Wife and kids may go to town and leave me to enjoy the game which means sitting in my chair watching the game and no work.

In Grove City we are part of the Youngstown market but a lot of people threatened to drop our cable company if they gave us the Browns game instead of the Steelers games a few years ago. Armstrong cable caved and gave us our local CBS and NBC channels out of Pittsburgh so we could watch the Steelers. Since ABC doesn't have NFL games any more they kept Youngstown as our local ABC affiliate.
