You lost your credibility when you referred to Pickett's senior season as "just a little bit better than average."

That doesn't help your credibility, either. Rattler was considered a first-round talent going into last season, but he was so bad that he lost his starting job early in the season. I'm not even a big college football fan and I knew that much.

Getting something for him now? That doesn't do anything beneficial until next year if it's a draft pick. You think that just maybe this team learned something from letting Dobbs go? Will we do the same K Mart special strategy again at QB this year as we have been for the OL? Keeping MR is not only the right move, it's the smart move. I get some think we are to take into account what's best for the player, but I tend to want to do what's best for the team at this point. Do you think he'd have a better chance on another team than ours? He was competing against one QB that couldn't start last year on his second team and the other a rookie. Where else would he have a better chance to be a #2? JMO>

Agree and it's not like the coaches didn't tell him on short notice he was starting and called over 50 pass plays in terrible weather conditions (and still put the team in a position to win according to MT). Seems the MR derangement syndrome is still very strong with some. JMO>

I wouldn't say thin, maybe vulnerable or at risk. I understand your point and it's a concern for sure. JMO>

According to who? Even as a sophomore at OU, he wasnt consistent with a lot of headscratching moments. Maybe they hoping he could be coached. Rattler has been very underwhelming and hasn't lived up to the hype. The SEC defenses are going to eat his lunch.

If you can get 5th round pick for Mason, I'd make the trade. He's been given numerous opportunities here and he's fallen flat. A parting of ways may be the best for all involved.

If we need an insurance policy, lets get a vet off the street to be the No. 3. We have the cap room for a rental at that spot.

Maybe the Steelers are hoping at some point a team becomes in dire need of a QB due to injuries and the Steelers offer Mason but at a high price??????????

It's a bit misleading to describe Trubisky as a guy who couldn't start last year. He was behind Josh Allen, not some scrub like Rudolph. The rookie is a first-round draft pick who outplayed Rudolph in the preseason despite the latter's advantage in terms of pro experience.

Apparently reading and comprehension doesnt suit you well when your ego becomes bigger then your eyesight as I said his previous seasons were a little bit better than average not his senior year.

You screwed up once questioning my credibility on here because you have problems reading and deciphering what people are trying to say because you think you know more than everybody else. Tell me where was the lie at concerning Rattler or anything else I've said under this post??....I'll wait.

You don't have to lie to lose credibility. You just have to show your ignorance, as you did when you admitted you hadn't even heard of Rattler until his name came up on this thread.

Your erratic relationship with the conventions of English and your love of run-on sentences are a problem. If you want to be understood, you may want to work on that.

I don't think I know more than everybody else. I am certain that I know more than you. For example, I knew why Rattler's story served as a great counter argument. That you didn't makes it very hard to take your opinion of current college quarterbacks seriously.

You cant be a lame and a goofy your entire life...you think I care about somebody that disappeared off the draft board not even month after the first mock draft appeared? What's clearly understood is that nobody was looking at anybody in last years draft as a no brainer and all of them had big ???? All the way up until the night of the draft. It was considered to be the weakest class since 2015. Your dumbass still trying to defend a moot point.

Lie about what Craig??? You still rattling on about some ish that dont even matter. He didnt matter much then and he definitely doesnt matter now. You should still be more worried about your reading and comprehension moreso then my ability to put a sentence together. Furthermore you still haven't pointed out where the lie was at?? Furthermore nobody was claiming any draft expertise. I dont make blogs on up and coming QBs, dont work in journalism, or have any credentials stating I'm a draft expert, therefore my credibility is not an issue. I simply stated an opinion that just so happens to be a fact. Dont be a pu$$y because you got a hard on for Pickett and a lot of other people here are more realistic then you are.

He was actually going into last season the near consensus first overall pick and the Heisman winner favorite.

You not only can, but will apparently continue to mangle the English language your entire life. That doesn't mask the fact that anybody who has a clue about college football quarterbacks knew about Rattler. You did not. Your ignorance renders the rest of your babbling irrelevant.

Was he in the draft? Where he at now? Who hyping him up now? This doesnt weaken my position slow bucks it actually strengthens my argument. You continually bringing up a dude who became totally irrelevant 3 weeks into the season last year. I mean where you going with this?? I'm supposed to be ashamed about not knowing about a guy that fell completely off the draft board 3 weeks into the season??
