The NFC

is terrible.
There are about 5 or 6 teams in the AFC that can win the Super Bowl.
In the NFC , LA got pounded last night.
Tampa- Brady is not gonna win another
DAL - have to prove it
GB- lost alot

I think if the Steelers were in the NFC they would make the playoffs easily , but the AFC is stacked.

This is a suitable topic for this area. I agree...if the Steelers were in the NFC they could definitely make WC. I couldn't see them getting by GB in any scenario though. Rodgers seems to have their number and I dont think they are better than the Rams.

 

Some of the NFC teams may surprise us. The Packers will still be a good team. The Cardinals and 49ers have the ability to be tough. The Panthers can be really good if McCaffrey can stay healthy. NFC is definitely weaker than the AFC, but the Steelers have an uphill battle to the playoffs no matter what conference they are in.

 

Other NFl area , Only Steeler related subjects on Steeler section .will worry about NFC when we get to playoffs.

How is this a suitable topic? The Steelers are not in the nfc..so right there it becomes a moot topic. Im.not a board nazi, but trying to bring the Steelers into a topic of what ifs in a conference they do not belong to dies not make it a correct thread for this forum. We have enough what ifs in suggesting every available player we should sign..we do not need to talk about an entire conference that has no relation to the team.

 

What about the atrocities done by the house of Windsor and now there's a celebration of the life of a monarch who's family killed hundreds of thousands....

As far as I'm concerned it's no different then asking "If the Steelers were to make it to the SB what top NFC teams are they capable of beating?" Its a bit of a premature topic...but nonetheless I dont think i'm reaching too much with that statement. A lot of people bring up a bunch of hypotheticals concerning the Steelers to help keep topics fresh I guess....otherwise we're stuck with Blame Tomlin threads and what the Steelers should do with Mason.

 

Cmon man. The whole premise of the thread was about the Steelers having an easier time making the playoffs if they were in the NFC.

I cant wait until games start. This board has gone crazy. I hope we can all make it until Sunday without killing each other.

Watching the Rams should be a lesson in caution for all teams. Superbowl hangover, Stafford was basically put on the shelf all preseason, new parts with little rhythm established, swapping Von Miller for Bobby Wagner seems not to have been the right move and the big thing was Donald looked unprepared and not DPOY form. He showed flashes but dbl teams he used to still manhandle seemed to be stopping him.
